Console grab handle

Has anyone looked into buying the console grab handle for the base? Even my dealer parts dept is having a hard time. I hate to mix another trim level with the color inserts. The base looks better anyway.

My guess is that it will be readily available (or even some aftermarket alternates) in about 6 to 12 months.

You can count on anything that attaches with Bronco Bolts will be replicated in the aftermarket. I'm sure we will see everything from titanium to billet to carbon fiber grab handles.

Or maybe even other features that could replace the grab handle (cb/gmrs radio mount, cell phone/tablet/laptop holder, inverter mount, extra cup holders, trash bin, etc.). The possibilities are endless.

Neat options. No doubt. Waiting on matching factory base console grab handle.

First thing I'm going to do is make a billet grab handle when I get my Bronco in 2023.

I still can't fathom why they put colors on them that don't match paint or interior.

I dont know. You would think there be more in the aftermarket by now, and I dont expect there will be for at least another 6-12 months. Just not a huge market since there has only been so few broncos. Like 4WP, you would think they would have more stuff for the bronco by now..

R&D doesn't happen overnight. Takes time for that, manufacturing and distribution. Most aftermarket manufacturers have only had their hands on a Bronco for a few months. The exception are Ford partners. Some are still waiting to get theirs so they can get started. The Gladiator has been out for almost two years and manufactures are still working on getting parts out. The first aftermarket soft top just went on sale last month and is in very limited supply. Bedrug just released their full bed kit a few months ago. It will be at least a year before you see a good selection of aftermarket Bronco parts.

Hope you don't live in a cold state. That bad boy will sting in the winter. LOL

I just confirmed at a local dealer, by looking at a Big Bend. A BB grab handle is the same. So a BB center console grab handle will work on the base.

Problem with the grab handles is that they are not sturdy. It feels like a good yank would tear it loose.

I live in the part of CT that is in the arctic circle or seems like it, so it does get cold here.

A its for looks
B the driver will never touch it
C I don't have passengers
D I could always wrap it in leather
E if its the winter and you aren't wearing gloves or mittens its on you

I'd be more concerned about it in the summer- Here in the desert, you grab that bad boy at the wrong time and well-

Might as well raise a thread from the dead.

Grab handles are out there, just not sure I like the $95 price tag that comes with it yet.

The grab handle, and the Oracle LED letters get a rap for their price, but people put $5k and $6k worth of tires and wheels on, before rolling off the lot.

I suppose they do.
I just said for me, the $95 isn't worth it. I could probably find something else to do with that money.

It was a general response, my friend, not specifically to you. I bought the grab handle for my baseaquatch, as well as the Oracle LEDs. LOVING the LED letters.

I've found them online at various Ford dealers on sale as low as 69.95 but there is usually a 3 week wait. I got mine from CJs pony parts and they are sturdier than what you might think. There's a post on the other forum with the part numbers for all the different trims.

Nice, I did like the look of the Oracle backlit LED. But yeah, at 30 bucks a pop or whatever it was, just wasn't feeling it.
I will admit, I am jealous though ;)

My next thing will probably be dropping $1,000 +/- on the signature LED headlights. And that's a splurge for me. Hell, my pod lights and bumper lights I picked up for like $70 off Amazon. I'm just not into big ticket (name) items like I was in my younger years. :ROFLMAO:

Honestly it's a bit crazy they aren't on the base model...
