Compressor mount Question-Please Help

Has anyone mounted a compressor on the bottom side of tailgate table on tailgate. Just thinking this might be a good place to mount it. I would really like to keep it inside if cabin away from elements and heat. Also want it convenient.

Not on a bronco, but Ive seen it done this way on a jeep. Down sides are the volume you give up in the back, the noise from the compressor, and longer runs of wiring. You might consider an under seat mount or maybe in that cubby where the subwoofer goes in the back. I have seen people mount it in the storage compartment in the floor, but I would be hesitant to do that because of the condensation that some folks have had build up there.
