**edit** Crap, I'm still waiting, still dealing with delays. I'm frustrated. But shoot, I'm not going to sue anybody. If anything, I'm sorry for typing while I was pissed off. I mean, I'm still pissed, but what can I do but wait some more? My Bronco showed up on the 29th at the rail yard 10 minutes away from me and is currently waiting to be unloaded. The delivery date was 11/22-28. On the 29th, it changed to 12/23-29. Now it says 12/2-8. lol Emotional rollercoaster for sure.

Seriously. My emotions have been played with over and over. Yeah, only 18 months of waiting, some of you longer. But goddammit. 1.5 months ago, they told me over the phone even that I was unscheduled balanced, I wasn't getting a 22. (I was bummed, but came to terms with it) 2 Weeks later, I've got a vin and a build week of 10/3. ( I was so stoked!!) Two days later, they move it to the week of 10/10, (no biggie, only a week, right?) with an actual build date of 10/13. (Yesterday that was only a week away, starting to get giddy!!!) This a.m. the back door link reports I've been moved to the week of 10/31. You can bet my day is ruined because of this.

I am so let down, so angry, so frustrated and so confused. Ford should have to pay for this. I've bought several new cars, NEVER had any kind of bs like this in the deal. I get so angry at myself for selling off my Jeep thinking I'd be in a Bronco.

So yeah, this week I will search for a lawyer who thinks it's worth a try to sue Ford as a group.
I am not the leader. I just like to go first.

Yeah, I suppose that will all just be a rant.
Maybe if they just send an email saying that your Bronco is on a train and it's not their problem any more. lol

I feel ya. Mine was ”built” 9/28 and I am waiting for shipping. They may have averted a rail strike, but shipping by rail or convoy are still a mess. For me, once it is loaded on the train I can expect 30-45 days before it is at the dealership here in AZ

I'm not a lawyer, nor did I sleep at a Holiday Inn, but in my opinion, you don't have any legal recourse. The vehicle is not yours, it's the dealers till they sell it to you I believe.

Those dollars could be better spent on little goodies for your Bronco when it gets here, Just sayin'.

You have a VIN. The end IS near. I've been saying this for a while, FORD does seem to be making every effort to get all reservation holders orders fulfilled. Having said that, I definitely get your frustration.

We need a therapy thread for the long time reservation holders. Ya'll have been thru a long ass, frustrating ride. Try, and hang in there.

Patience, grasshopper. As your friend, let me assure you that the joy you experience once you take delivery (of the Wildtrak) it will erase all of the aggravation and frustration you are now experiencing. Keep the faith. Rumor has it that it's worth the wait. ;)
Chris here. I drive a 2-door Velocity Blue 2023 Ford Bronco Badlands with Sasquatch, Lux, a 2.7L V6, and an automatic transmission. It’s fun.

Easy brother we are all in this together. We have all had our own frustrating, sanity testing rides. Trust me the hardest part is when your build week arrives and then you have snags/delays with no reason behind them. You know its there you just can’t have It yet. It will come, we will alll bask in the glory of our new rides and the pain will be swept away. This is the first car I have “ordered” so it’s a new experience to me and it being a new model makes it harder, not like ordering a custom F-150 that they make a trillion of a year and have been for decades.

Over the agonizing two plus years since the announcement of the Bronco there have been several conversations regarding a class action lawsuit. And way back I pulled up the information Ford published about reservations, and orders and what we were agreeing to in this process. And there were a lot of links to click on and review. All of the stuff that people never look at when they click on the acceptance button. Kind of like an update for your cellphone. You click yes but never look at it. That being said, I went back and looked at it and I published it to one or more threads. And the gist of it is, there isn’t much recourse for a lawsuit. You are entitled to your deposit back and that is about it. And believe me no one likes what is going on but the people with the the deep pockets and expensive lawyers know how to word things in their favor. There are a lot of things in this process that are out of our control, and frankly Ford’s control. The one thing that they can control is any form of timely correspondence.

Most of the issues are way beyond Ford's control. Covid did a number on the world. I would not say there is any cause for a class action suit of any kind. What would be the grounds of said suit??
Your best bet is to treat this just like finding love. Quit worrying about it and let it happen when it happens. Don't try to force it.
Mine had a blend date of 8/11 and wasn't built until 8/22. According to the tracker it was awaiting shipping. It still showed that status until two weeks ago when it said it was delivered. Never once showed shipped. I didn't worry about it. It will get there when it gets there.

I say choose love! If you happen to find one, grab it, hold it, love it and never let it go. You never know when or if you will find another one. Or at the very least, hang on to it until you have procured a new one!🤣

Didn't you already have a bronco that you sold? So you're mad that in the time some have waited for 2+ years, you received a Bronco, sold it, and are now waiting on another.

Ferd doesn't need a class action to look bad, they are doing a good job on their own.😆 Class actions are mostly a waste of time, the lawyers get everything you get nothing.
If you want to hurt them, go buy a Jeep.

I think most people here understand your frustrations. Most of us were there, my biggest complaint was Ford doesn’t tell you where you are in line. Like if there was a way to see where you fell on a list it would have made the wait so much better. It is the not knowing for the longest period of time and the uncertainty. Then the bouncing of schedules as well. You wait so long then you get disappointed all over again. The thing is once it is there and you see it and drive it the first time you will love it. It was the worst waiting experience but the best picking it up experience I have ever had with a new vehicle at the same time. I love everything about my Bronco. It was exactly the one I wanted. All I can say is hang in there and hopefully you get yours soon. I am not sure if there are any legal reasons you can sue over but all I know is hopefully you will enjoy yours as much as some of the rest of us do ours!

I am not an attorney nor do I have a legal background, however, I was curious about "Class Actions" so I let a search engine do some of the work. I found this among many other explanations and examples of Class Action Lawsuits.
-"For a class action lawsuit, you must prove that numerous people sustained harm in a similar way or suffered financial losses at the hands of another party for a court to certify your class action lawsuit." https://bencrump.com/faqs/how-many-people-do-you-need-for-a-class-action-lawsuit/
I think that @MarkPS was alluding to not having a finical loss because the vehicle has not been sold (agree). I do find it interesting that that example I quoted has "numerous people sustained harm" I am thinking that it would be harm either mentally or physically of goods or services sold to the parties involved.
It would be nice have an update from the Original Poster (OP) concerning what is the layers recommendation.
