Curious! Back when Esteban participated in a Q&A video with BN staff, he mentioned how Ford may have a solution for the carpet on the rear seat backs for Broncos with the MGV interior. @David I may have missed the memo, not sure if any developments exist on this topic.

Yeah, it’s odd that the Bronco ended up with that cargo area configuration when the Sport got this.....AF82E213-9494-4A92-869C-8A52ACF9DED2.jpeg

From what i heard the reason they didnt do it was weight concerns (likely a lie or a poor decision on the design team)

no reason that the entire interior is basically waterproof except for these carpeted areas on the back that should be rubberized. its not that heavy

Many have said the sport has better interior then the Bronco. As far as the rear cargo I have to agree.

I haven’t seen the Big Bronco yet.
But my wife’s Big Bend is great interior all around, no complaint here.

Not in person but from the pictures. I should have said that. Just like the cargo area with no carpet on the sport.

its also functionally better

if the design team wants to make a killer 2dr bronco. or even a 4 door

just make sure that the backs of those seats are rubber and the seats somehow can fold flat into the back leaving a level surface for storage like the sport can

Now that the Moab blowout has happened has anyone seen the actual thing in the wild?

My wishlist is:
- electric seats, my wife is 10" shorter than me so switching between us makes electric seats nice
- carpet everywhere for sound deadening if nothing else
- sound deadening headliners and in-door stuff, actually wherever you can get it. This will be an everyday car (90%) as well as off-pavement (10%)
- sasquatch

I can get sasquatch anywhere but the rest? Sound deadening headliners are explicit but the rest are a mystery to me.

I think I plan on giving the back of the rear seat and maybe even the headliner in my Badlands a coating of water proofing spray. I've used it on camping gear and every pair of boots for years and I think would mitigate any real issues that might arrive. Plan on a cargo liner for the back also.

Great minds think alike! Back in the day when I used to ski it was scotch guarded Levi’s and gaiters over my boots and pants bottoms, thermals and a good pull over light parka. Carried all that I needed an me. Scotch guard was essential to staying dry
