Can I swap my Explorer EDDIE BAUER V8 2004 RIMS 17×7 with my base 16" steel rims and tires?

He a question I asked my dealer in NY and Florida.and Ford Bronco marketing. Why.
Dont want to buy two new sets.
My wifes 2004 Eddie Bauer, v8 Explorer need tites 245 65 17. Has Bridgestone HT . Good road tires but old. Rims look like Ranger 4×4 F4 XT's. Aluminum say $250 plus.
That say $1000 worth of rims.Dont know if 5 lugs are the same with the base steel rims and Bridgestones on 255 70 16 . Tires from base should fit explorer.

Then I can use Explorer rims 17×7 on Bronco and get 32" Bridgestone AT.

Also have 19" Bridgestone HT a/s on my Range Rover Sport. 30 plus on 65k tires!

Base rims and tires will replace Explorer for off road beach sand tires. Does make sense to buy new tires for wife Explorer and take off base rims and tires and spend another $2000 for the base.

Smaller rims knocked down to 15 psi will be good sand tires off road. Not aggressive like AT for Bronco for non sand off road. Range Rover Sport air suspension is just to nice to get into rocks, so that is where the Base will go. Maybe flat tow on RV!

Only issue according to tire man Sam in a high volumn Florida dealer. Bought three new cars there. My NY dealer doesnt know anything.
