Just looking at the Build and Price a few minutes ago and noticed the lack of one really great trim.
Does this mean the end of the Everglades?
Would you have bought one if it came with the 2.7?

I thought the Everglades was one of the constrained models (no longer orderable for 2024), or had constrained items as part of its build. Maybe I'm remembering it wrong?

It was one of the two Model you could not order Yesterday but the other Model (the Base) is still on the B&P. and yes it is full of constraints.

When I first saw it I loved it and thought, "Wow I want that one." Then I saw it only came with small motor. Lost total interest.

I would be shocked if it returns next year, the take rate was extremely low. I know at my dealer they only had ONE order for an Everglades, and it went to a dealer employee.

If we're being honest the amount of people that need or even want a snorkel on their vehicle is extremely low. I do think the 2.7L option and/or the sway-bar disconnect would have helped, but it really makes more sense as an upgrade pack available via Ford Performance, or a special package on the Black Diamond trim (likely without the winch and the 12" screen) rather than it it's own unique trim.

I'm curious if Ford intended for Everglades to be a limited special edition trim, or if they intended it to be a long-lasting trim. Considering it had it's own special unique color option I'm guessing its the former, but we'll probably never know.

No manual was a deal breaker for me. And now there is not even a manual available in any trim.

Well to be totally honest I switched to the Everglades for the Wheels, Fenders, Hard top and Desert Sand, also I figured they wanted to get it out so it was my best chance at getting a MY22. My original build was already going to be a 2.3 but manual, not a huge issue there. and my plan was to add a winch to my Nosquatch Badlands so that was a bonus. and After the dust storm we were driving in at Hidden Falls on Sunday I am glad I had the snorkel the dust is why I wanted that. if it is gone it should be fairly easy to replicate just need to get a heritage with 2.3 and add a snorkel and winch.
and I think for MY24 Desert Sand or "Terrain" will be a color option for all Broncos.

More backstory on the "pause" of Everglades, Base, and manual for those who haven't seen Ford's response. It'll be interesting if it stays paused come 24my.

That's kinda what I had guessed the reasoning was, although I was thinking more along the lines of "general simplification" rather than attributing it to the Ranger. But it makes sense.

This probably means my manual transmission Ranger dream is also dead. đŸ˜« Was a long shot anyway I guess.

That’s what I was hoping for too. I love the Bronco sooo much that I want a manual ranger too.

A manual ranger would be cool. Like the ones we had back in the 80 and 90 s

My brother bought an Everglades.......and I think it's a super cool, I really like it. If I didn't have mine I'd consider it, love the squared fenders and winch.
