I know this has already been covered. https://thebronconation.com/bronco-how-to-n.141/bronco-nation-badge-t.13398/page-1

However, I thought I would get "nit-picky" and make the location more of a standard ....based on the location the Bronco Nation (Bronco) grill and what others have done similarly.

Here is where a number of BN members have settled on placing their badge:

If this is old news forgive me. But I wanted to make it crystal clear where the badge is located....centered (in between slotted holes 3 and 4 from the right and centered on the second row down from the top)

Hope this helps... Please share where you think the badge should be located ...so we all can come up with a consensus.
Plus it would be great to see the other grills represented.
Thanks

I didn’t know there were rules lol. I went bottom driver side on my BD because I thought it looked better than the top.

^Not sure why it was rotating, but I took the liberty to flip it since I'm on desktop. To flip it, i had to download, rotate it in Preview, and save. I was curious if it was a site issue.

Images captured on a cell phone often have a “rotation” tag embedded in them (since the phone has an accelerometer that can determine it’s position in space). That allows the image to be viewed correctly on the phone, and on computers that support the tag. Some websites don’t support that tag, so the image is displayed in it’s native orientation. The solution (as you noted), is to pre-rotate the image to the correct orientation before uploading.

Thanks!

I was uploading from mobile and the picture was taken with my phone in the upright position and displays upright in my phone just rotates 90° when uploaded. First few days of new site it worked fine now the last few days everything I try to upload goes sideways…. Maybe I have my head turned the wrong way lol

I received my membership renewal packet yesterday and the grill badge is much heavier and nicer than I was thinking it would be . I do believe some sort of standard placement should be adhered to if only somewhere on the drivers side is agreed to . Different trims with their unique grills and personal taste would dictate exact placement .

I like your location….looks great!!!

My guess (with the top location) is to not interfere with the air flow for cooling purposes … (especially with the Active Grill Shutters which have a tendency to randomly block air significantly and raise the cooling temp to uncomfortable levels..)

My paranoia comes from experience…

However…. “The proof is in the pudding”…
Your badge placement probably has no effect on cooling temps…👍🏼
And looks great!!!

Thanks. I assumed most people were going for the top because it’s the easiest location to get to the back side, I just took the grill off to install it so I didn’t have to struggle with the nuts lol. May take it off and cut down the studs though, they are about twice as long as they need to be and makes me nervous how close to the AC condenser they are in that location.

I'm going to put mine somewhere inside. People are ignorant and when they see something like this it's an opportunity to try to rip it off.

After looking closer today my location choice was in fact interfering with the automatic shutters. Probably could have trimmed the studs off since they are almost 3 times a long as they need to be but I just removed the grill again and installed in the upper section. Looks like that really is the safest place to put it.
