I would prefer a V8 but since I don't like Jeeps that's a non starter for me. If money were no object I would absolutely drop a Coyote in the Bronco.

I had a Bronco with a V-8 years ago… nothing close to the performance the 2.7L gives me today… can’t imagine a coyote fitting in todays engine compartment, but it would be an intriguing swap…

I kind of figured that. BuT I think they wrote it backwards. Broncos are better. I think it's meant to say people who say Jeeps are better go to the train station to dissappear.

The coyote doesn't really fit,a godzilla is a better option and more bottom end torque, which is what it is all about in a 4x4. Turbo wheezers just don't make it in the rpm range you need.
Slush Boxes mask the problem with the converter,but driving them off-road is like driving with a rubber band on the accelerator.
The no Traction Faction guys have been playing with a coyote swap and aren't making progress.
A 400 built correctly makes more torque below 1700 rpm than the 2.7 can at peak.

While the low end torque would be nice, 920 pounds vs 450 pounds would make the Godzilla likely impractical

Cite your source of the weight for a Godzilla.

Add all the bullshit like intercooler and piping to the 2.7 and it's not that much different.

Big fan of the motor. Not a fan of the name. Sounds importee and car enthusiast know that the skyline has had the name for decades. It's cool to copy your own being retro but copying others is just lame.
