Kinda nervous for my Galaxy S20 ultra as it's a little longer than the iPhone 12 max

Looks like you have about 1/2-3/4 inch or so extra space from the pic.

I actually started a thread about this very topic a few weeks ago about the size of the wireless charging pad, so thank you very much for this!

So the iPhone 12 max is 160.8x78.1x7.4mm.

I just bought a Oneplus 9 pro, which is 163.2x73.6x8.7mm.

It definitely looks like there is an extra 2.5mm of space there :).

@David , is the wireless charging pad the same size on the manual transmission Bronco? I think I've seen pictures where it is more of a vertical orientation rear of the shifter. Or was that just a preproduction rendering?

Great question, I’ll need to check. Good chance there’ll be something here with the manual. We’ll see if there’s a manual+lux.

Yeah I thought it was more vertical too. I hadn't considered that maybe it was only like that on the manual.

That’s a pretty tight fit and the iPhone 12 Max is not the largest phone currently available (although it is the largest current offering from Apple).

As the size of cell phones continues to grow I fear the mat may become obsolete in the not so distant future...

Was it magnetic? Or did the phone slide around when driving, causing it ti charge/uncharge?

I’m gonna hold out for the latest and greatest IPhone. You know the the one that is so big that you park your Bronco on top of it to charge! :ROFLMAO:

On another note, I can say that the wireless Apple CarPlay works well. Have not had any issues with that so far in our Truck.

My only complaint on it is not being able to put any good weather maps on the screen

I believe it has some generic one but for the ones I use( RadarOmega and RadarScope) I guess it's against their protocols SMH

I really don't think enough effort was made on this topic so I took it upon myself to do some more thorough investigating. You're welcome!

It isn’t magnetic but is kinda rubberized and held pretty securely.
