Please contact your dealer. Information had leaked out with a lot of wrong information. But this is what I can tell you.
Ford is continuing to build everything they can. If you want a better chance to get your Bronco in 2023 Hardtops, Sasquatch and Lux package are still is very hard to accommodate. Please consider changing your order. They are still building all trim levels.

BRONCO NEED TO KNOW INFORMATION
-Wildtrak customers are encouraged to change their build to a Badlands, Outerbanks or Big bend. If they do this they will get a $2500 private offer.
-Wildtrak customers that do not want to switch but give up Lux and or their hardtop will also get $2500.
-NON Wildtrak customers who have the following
  • Hardtop
  • Sasquatch
  • Lux package
If you remove 1 or all of these you will get (1) $2500 private offer off your Bronco. (does this guarantee your Bronco getting built? No. But taking off one or more has a better chance of it getting pulled. Every dealer has different allocation contact your dealer for more information)

OPTION 2
If you have a current customer waiting on a Bronco and no longer want to wait. They can cancel their order and get a $2500 private offer to use on another Ford vehicle. Exclusions will apply. You can use this on any In stock retail Bronco order.
**If you order a new Ford they will get the 2500 but it is NOT stackable with the 1000 being offered for ordering a new Ford vehicle.

Options 3
**If your Bronco does not get built in the 2023 MY all price protection offers are off the table. No price protection, no incentives everyone start all over for 2024.

Please understand Ford is trying to accommodate all orders. These are things you can do to get your Bronco faster. If you are not wanting your Bronco please contact your dealer - If your Bronco is built and comes in it takes away from that dealers allocation meaning it takes away from someone else getting their Bronco.

Again I'm just trying to share the right information.

It is what it is, but I honestly think Ford could have done a better job earlier on. They really should have limited the constrained builds to reservation holders only as well as not have opened up Bronco orders with constrained parts. I'm blessed to have my Bronco, but feel for those who have waited over 2 years, only to be told this.

If I switch from wildtrak to Badlands but keep the hardtop. Will I get the $2500? And will I still have price protection?

Do we know if the $2500 would still be offered in Offer 2 if we go to a different dealer to buy a new Ford? Or would it have to be from the same dealer?

This definitely still seems like incomplete information, though I appreciate the attempt to gather it all in one place. The flyer that is circulating states that buyers "must remove/change their order to a Bronco without ANY of the following...MIC, Lux, Sas" to get the $2500 private offer. It also makes no sense that someone who removes all three would get the same payout as someone who only removes one.

I think they should be foisting this choice on anyone who has a walk-in order first and foremost. I think my 08/01/21 reservation and 08/12/21 order should qualify me for priority over someone who just walked into a dealership in 2022 and put in an order. In fact, I think it is absolutely MENTAL that there are large numbers of folks with 22 walk-in orders who have already been driving their vehicle for 6 months and I don't even have a build date after 523 days.

I also think it's mental that TIRES are the deciding factor on the sas package. You would think that a company with a 50.88 billion market cap could come up with the money and relationships necessary to swing to a different tire brand/style rather quickly.

Complete and utter incompetence. Honestly, I think a big part of the problem is also that they are in full swing toward EV. Neither Farley nor Levine have tweeted anything about the Bronco in months. It's the red headed ICE stepchild now.

I think the new caveat for Wildtrak orders will make people much much happier. I mean if it was me, I would drop LUX and reluctantly drop the MIC top..... and still get the $2500 credit..... That is 33% or more to getting a aftermarket hardtop. I would still prefer to keep the WT for the HOSS3.0.

Still waiting on word if the $2500 switch money is on top of what price protection/private offer money coming to you. That's potentially a minimum of $4850 off. Higher depending on your order time and model ordered. And if you ordered from one of the below invoice dealers that is around $1500+ additional off.

You're looking at this from an overall Ford perspective. Your reservation/order date is only relevant to the other orders at that dealership not to all of the orders on that date from other dealerships. Thus it's also effected by the number of allocations at that dealership, the number of other orders at that dealership, etc. So, the question I would ask my dealer if I were you is where on the list of their orders does my 08/01/2021 order stand? And how many allocations does that dealer get? Keep in mind that all it means if you are #1 or #2 in order date at that dealer is that IF the dealer has an allocation Ford will look at your build and see if they have the parts to build it. If they don't, then you get passed over and they look at #2 on the list, and if they don't have the parts for that, then #3 and do forth until they get to one that they do have the parts to build. That Bronco gets built and sent to your dealership for that customer. That might be a Bronco ordered WELL after yours. That build might be #1 on the list, or, it might be #20 or later it just depends on parts availability. This is on a dealer by dealer basis, not across all orders for all Broncos. That's why you might see someone who ordered after you did driving the same build as yours that was ordered from a different dealership. It's also why constrained parts delay builds so much. There's a randomness involved at when your order gets pulled to check and see if the parts are available. If you're lucky and they happen to have the parts you're good to go, but if someone with the same or similar constrained parts gets looked at before you do, well, then you might be out of luck. That's where the seeming randomness comes from. That's also why if you pull enough construed parts ASSUMING YOUR DEALER HAS THE ALLOCATIONS you have a better chance of getting built.

I feel your pain. It sucks that so many are waiting this long. It's almost as if Ford is purposely ignoring the oldest reservations hoping they will just cancel and walk away.

I do want to address the Sasquatch tires. There would be much more to it than just switching manufacturers. The Territorys are the lightest tire in that size. Most will be a minimum of 10lbs more each. That affects MPG which would mean being recertified or whatever they do. Also the added weight would put more stress on the tie rods. I'm sure there are other factors that would be affected by just swapping the make of tire.

Upon further review, you only have to drop 1 limited component to get the extra funds. No brainer. Drop lux, keep the hard top. I actually like my LUX features and use them, but given a choice I would rather have a hardtop.

Not having looked at the actual information yet, and going off of statements here, I have this take away. In regards to constrained items. All the same issues and a few new ones are in play. Bottom line is things are still hard to get and will continue to be so for the foreseeable future. Previously Ford has urged people that if they want to get it faster to drop constrained items. People made decisions and had to live with them. Ford knowing that these problems would continue created the price protection guarantee for reservation holders and placed orders from before a certain date.
As the issues continued the price protection guarantee changed based on various factors and was modified. The big caveat was that the price protection guarantee would be ending at a certain date and also that reservations which hadn’t been converted to an order by a certain date would be scrubbed from the system. Now as we have continued down the road and the parts constraints issues are still and will be, an issue for the foreseeable future, Ford is telling us that if you want to get it with one of the various levels of price protections you really should consider changing your build, and we will sweeten the deal with additional rebates/money to do so. Because if you don‘t there is a really, really good chance you won’t get it until MY24 with no price protection.
This is where allocations are playing a huge factor. Dealerships that offered Huge incentives and still have hundreds and hundreds of orders from way back at the dawn of time, will continue to be unable to fulfill those orders while some small and medium dealers that only had 100-200 orders from the very start of this and have mostly filled all of their customer orders. They will be getting stock builds as a result of availability of allocations. What will they get? Who knows.
The thing that everyone who is still waiting should think long and hard about is that there is now a very solid line in the sand for you. Make your dealership, tell you how many orders they have, what the ratio of higher end build is, where you are in the pecking order, and how many allocations they believe they will be getting each month. Allocations are tricky and change weekly, but they have a pretty good idea. A real shit show, as it has been and will continue to be, but you no longer have the time think long and hard about it. The time to decide is nigh at hand. Tim

Do NOT pass on a lesser model 2023.. (not Big Bend) IF YOU HAVE PRIVATE OFFER (PRICE PROTECTION).. You can re- order for 2024 model for what you wanted... get the 2023 bronco at say 2k-5k dollar (PRIVATE OFFER) discount on 2023 prices... then private sell or trade in for the 2024 model (which in my opinion will have a SUBSTANTIAL PRICE INCREASE) IMO 2k-3k increase and you will have an automatic 4k-7k equity over a 2024, before you ever make the first payment. I see everyone say, check with your dealer to see where you are on the list.

Well, my 2dr Basesquatch has been #1 on my dealers list since I first ordered it back in 2021. Last year I have COVP with confirmed e-mail from Ford and it still did not get built. This year after COVP Ford has finally changed it to a PC of 2. So, where does that put me????? Up shit creek apparently with the latest news. Dealer has received all of their orders, all 4drs. My 2dr still sets, unscheduled. Seems like every time the dealer's allocation comes up, Ford cannot build a 2dr.

So can some one here explain to me how to get Ford to build a 2dr for my dealer?????? This has become very frustrating after all the promises form Ford back in 2020 only to be given the shaft the last 2 years because of some stupid algorithm that can't seem to build "close to reservation date as possible". Watched walk in orders, same as mine, get built left and right. I know someone will chime in about "it is all about allocation". Well guess what my order was in before the very first allocation cutoff in Oct of 2020. So I made the dealers original allocation but it seems everyone else gets a Bronco but me. And NO I am NOT at a big discount dealer, just my local guy that have delt with for years. Enough with the BS games we keep playing. Hell he even has a hard time getting Super Duties between Ford losing them, to being built and just setting around waiting to be delivered.

It is a shame because I have bought Ford vehicles ever since my 78 Granada when I was 18, I am now 55. Hell, I just bought the wife a '22 Explorer Timberline to replace her 13 Expolorer. enough with the games.

Sorry for the rant but this is beyond frustrating at this point. Some real answers would be nice not just BS. 😞

This is a crap shoot. No one knows what trade in values will be and how much equity you will have. I will tell you this. I had a Ford dealer offer me $40k in trade on my 3 month old Black Diamond. So that's saying it depreciated almost $6k already.

This is what I see happening. After what has transpired over the last few days many people are going to walk. And they will cancel their orders. Thing is dealers won't cancel those orders. They will just change the order easily buildable Broncos for dealer stock. Then by the time MY2024 rolls around there will be in stock units all across the country. So the value of your used Bronco will drop.

Knows the cheat code.
