BN Help?! I’m new to all this - questions about Sassy’s HLE history

History of Sassy? And HLE Question: Because my purchase of Sassy was such a whirlwind, I am now trying to understand how many of her siblings there might be. I have been told that there were (or eventually will be made) 1966 HLE made as First Editions in 2023. I was then told half are Robin Egg Blue like Sassy and half are Yellowstone yellow. That would mean 983 Blue. Of those, I am told approximately 15% were scheduled to be 2-door. That would mean there are 147 (and a half lol) total - so she has 146 blue 2 door HLE siblings out there in the world. Is there any way to verify this? Is it true or close to true? Can I find out how many have been produced so far? Based on her Vin number - which ends in 101 - can I assume she is the 101st of the blue 2 doors off the line? Or is that wrong and there is some other way to tell? Can I go back and look at production notes or runs or whatever and learn her history? Help!?!? I’m new to all this but I want to know everything I can know about her!!! Also - are there “markers” of the 2023 Limited Edition where you can tell Just By Looking at a car from the outside that it’s a limited edition as opposed to heritage but NOT limited edition? I think for example Yellow color is ONLY available in HLE - but I think Robin Egg Blue can be Heritage (non LE) 2 door … just curious as I’m out and about and maybe start to see others someday!!

I have your identical twin.... I fell in love and wanted it when the first announced they were going to offer the heritage limited years before they did. Then I found out how "limited" they were going to be and set my sights on building a different package... until, low and behold this one posted on line and I was at the dealer within a half hour check in hand.

Okay there are going to be 1966 2 doors and 1966 4 door heritage limited editions manufactured. (total of 3932). I believe there will be three different colors. Robin Egg Blue, Yellowstone yellow, and a third darker blue. No specs on how many of each color. They can not be ordered. Dealers can put in a request for their preferred build, they way I understand it, but they will/are allocated by Ford to the Dealers.... Essentially Each dealership should get 1??? If and when Ford allocates that build to them.... So yes very rare and hard to acquire.

The 15% number you are reading is only how much manufacturing time is being allocated for building all broncos.... Has nothing to do with how many 2 doors vs 4 doors (limited) will be built. but over all only 15% of broncos are 2 doors so that is making your 2 door even more rare than just the fact it is a "Limited".

Markers... Well the fact that it is Robin egg blue is your first clue... It is the ONLY vehicle in REB... until the 24s come out. they are now offering REB to Heritage builds as well for 24, but to be honest there is not a lot of those either and how many will be ordered in REB??? Yellowstone yellow is still reserved for "Limited" only but I would guess they may make it available for order in 25? Offered to Heritage only like the REB??? Do not know about the third darker blue yet... never seen even a prototype so I am questioning if it will even happen. We saw both REB and YY in prototype before the release this year. Next marker is your wheels, Unique to the limited, black with white rim. Heritage (non limited) are similar but entirely white. As of right now only Heritage and Heritage limited have the modular top (painted white) and the square fenders (everglades did get square fenders also but that is the only other and looks quite different with its water fording air duct running up the entire passenger A pillar. Those are fairly rare as well. There are a couple of "fake" square fenders out there. aftermarket flair extensions formed to hide the round fenders to look square. There is at least one that did a good job making it look square... (square fender is kind of flat on top as opposed to matching the curve/circular of the tire).

I have not figured out the VINs yet... I would like to know. I think mine was one of the first 8 - 2 doors built only because one week after purchase someone posted build numbers on another site and at their numbers only showed 8 limited two doors built at that time.

Izzie and Auggie. Beabulls. 50/50 beagle bulldog. Boxers are my favorite dog, but I wanted smaller. And thank God I did because the two of them are like tanks at 45 pounds each lol. I love the fawn and white coloring and I love the little bit of wrinkle that the bulldog ads. And the soft brown beagle ears. And you can’t really see it in the photos but the female Izzie as a bright blue eye and a brown eye. She’s pretty sassy herself lol.

The puggle is 40 lbs (not suppose to be, but is even though not over weight at all) and the Jug is 20 lbs and happens to be Alpha.

The reason I found them is a friend was looking at Bull Puggles. But I’m not a huge pug fan - and I didn’t know why you would combine two breeds with short nasal cavity areas and trouble/loud breathing lol. So I was on the site for bull puggles and saw Beabull and fell in love!!

trying to find build numbers by paint color is an exercise in futility. Heck just getting build numbers by trim level is next to impossible. I only know there are about/just under 1000 Everglades and the Desert Sand was a limited paint color so there are maybe 600 DS Everglades, but that is purely a guess. I did talk with a Ford executive earlier this year and he said they were bringing the Everglades back for MY 24, I figured they were going to just build enough to make more of them than the Heritage limited so that means they need to build about 1000 more so that holds with the limited production numbers. Welcome to the Rare Bronco Club!
FYI The square fender flairs are a tad bit narrower than the normal Sasquatch fender flair. Something I noticed when parked next to my Brothers Basesquatch.

Looks like there are only 2 Colors for MY2023 and 6 colors for MY2024 there are no Dark Blue colors for any of those years!!!
The Dark color you see in 2024 is Black…

The second photo you post with the 2024 says Heritage - not heritage limited - so I’m not sure what the 2024 heritage limited colors are for 2 door? I’ll have to

As I was rushing to research my impulsive purchase - I did see people saying that a different blue - more like a bright beautiful royal blue - was going to be offered as a LE color I think. But I don’t see it anywhere. I think it was more in a nod to this (see photos). I can’t remember what they were calling the color and can’t find it now.

Would that be grabber blue?

Have you played with the modular top yet? At least popped out the rear windows to see how that works. That is the one thing I wish Ford had figured out earlier.
