What are the largest tires I can put on my Big Bend stock rims and not have to lift the vehicle. I see 70x285 on Badlands, but the rim is 17X8s instead of 17X17.5s.

My brother in law just put 295/70r17's on his big bend wheels.

Granted he also did the zone 2" level lift, but it wasn't required. He also removed the crash bars.

You can definitely fit 285/70r17's with no mods at all.

I put 315/70’s on my big bend wheels but I also did the 2” zone level kit. No rubbing at all and just removed the rear crash bar. After doing this I would definitely recommend doing the lift/level if you want to go with bigger tires.

What rear axel ratio and engine do you have on yours and did you notice much of a performance difference going to the 315/70's? thinking about doing the Zone level as well on a Base.

I only put about 50 miles on it with the stock so not much of a sample size but I did not notice a performance difference. I am really happy with the performance, noise level and definitely the looks. 2.3 manual, 3.73 rear axle.

Thanks for the post. I just picked up mine Big Bend today. Planning on doing the same thing. I was wondering if you had an issue putting the 315’s on the stock rims?

Thanks, did you notice the suspension being less "squishy" at all with the spacer style level kit? I know it's not much, my understanding is it's 2" on the front and 1" on the rear. Post a pic!

Here is a pic of a Big Bend with the level kit and 35” and I didn’t notice a difference in performance when I drove it. It was a 2.3l auto.

Front and back were both 2”. Didn’t notice at all it was less “squishy”. I forgot to measure the rake before the lift/level but now there’s a 1/2” difference between front and back with the back being a bit higher.

Good lookin, notice much difference in ride quality on rough terrain from standard suspension to Sasquatch? Also any power difference turning the bigger rubber from the 3.73 rear to the Squatch 4.7?

I think the Squatch coil overs do ride softer than stock (Hitachi) to begin with.
His Bronco I reserved with the rear locker 4.27 gears and there has been no difference in power, at least not noticeable. The only thing that stands out is the extra ride height, it's a bit of a jump getting in his Bronco. He is happy with the whole set up now, definitely looks better than a stock Big Bend. I'll also note, it took the 2 of use a good 8 hours to install the Zone 2" lift. There just aren't that many good videos showing how to do it out there, and the one's we did watch, somehow it looked real simple. But in real life conditions, we ended up fighting it along the way. Basically figured out how to do as we went along, fought 1st front tire, figured it out, 2nd tire piece of cake. Fought 1st rear tire, figured it out, 2nd piece of cake. So it's doable, and who wants to pay some dealer $500+ to install it

Has anyone tried 35x12.5r17 on the stock big bend wheels? My wife is wanting to get 35's on her bronco ASAP, but I can't find where anyone put that exact size tire on their bronco.

One thing you have to keep in mind, when you move to larger tires your stock differential is a Dana M190 it will not be as strong as getting the Sasquatch package witch comes with the Dana M210 differential. I would say that if this Bronco is going to be a Mall Crawler then you would be fine, however if you plan on doing any Wheeli'n with it you may run into some problems down the road. Here is a perfect video of a stocked Bronco with larger tires. I will try to find part 2 of it where he explains all the damage.

I have a 2.3L manual too and just purchased some Sasquatch rims and am going to add 35" tires. When you did the 2" zone lift did you recalibrate the speedometer and odometer with Forscan? Also could I ask what 35" tires you're using? Thank you.

My brother in law went with zone 2" lift and 295/70r17's on stock Big Bend wheels. Only thing we did was remove the crash bars, and he says no issues with rubbing. Plus the 295's look pretty good on the Bronco.
