Okay, I’ll bite…
I’m not sure why we think pressing a button (or turning a dial) to slightly tweak ECU (throttle response and shift points and …) would significantly affect mpgs.

now, if your driving habits change, too (slower acceleration, lower speeds) - seems like that would make a much larger difference.

I’m pretty happy with my average 19.8 mpgs (2.3, manual, 4.7 gears).
