Hey all!
I am really frustrated with this damn stock stereo! I thought I could live with it after replacing just about every speaker, but this stereo is just flat-out horrible!
With this, I started to think about it all (look out!).
So, there are individual pods left and right in the rear, correct?
Someone must make some really decent sound "Pod" setups for everything from ATVs, and boats to motorcycles, right?
Is anyone running some nice powered and bad arse-sounding pods you can recommend on your quad, side by side, or boat? If so, what is the low down? Please share that info!
I figure, a little finagling with the mounts, a wire or two, and there must be more than one really good option out there to get some kicking bass and general feel and life into this lifeless system!
Second, has anyone had the rear passenger kick panel apart on a Base model?
You see, I wonder if the wiring for the high-end system factory wiring is actually there for the better-optioned sound system already for a (sub and amp factory setup/wires hanging there)?
I ask because I popped the plastic trim off the tailgate the other day when I was out there replacing the rear pod speakers, yet again. While doing this, I noticed there is a ton of room in that tailgate and it is completely hollow! There has to be a way to make a great kicker box/amp assembly out of that entire tailgate. Especially since there is nothing in there and it has a boatload of wires running into it already!
Any ideas to load the tailgate with an amp/kicker combo and still keep the full dimensions of that tiny trunk as well ( I have the 2dr)?

Best combo amp kicker set up out there as well (from experience only, please).
