At KOH, @jparker, @MattR, and I had some time with the ARB Bronco, and we liked what we experienced: We thought the Old Man Emu suspension was great at soaking up the desert terrain and that handfuls of items on this build would be awesome for any Bronco, including the recovery kits, bumpers, and air compressors.

Check out Jordan's walk-around of the vehicle and see many of the products you can get from the famed off-road parts manufacturer right in the Bronco Nation Gear store –– all with special member pricing!

Did you get to meet some of the ARB team and see both their Broncos around the campfire at KOH Basecamp? What would you be interested in for your Bronco?

I got the ARB under vehicle skid plates and I've been curious about the front panel under the engine. This is obviously stronger and more protective then the factory plastic one, however it's much narrower and seems like it leaves alot of areas vulnerable. I have seen alot of salvage Broncos and most have been due to the suspension/wheel area snapping or collapsing in one of any of the four corners. This certainly seems to leave the front areas more exposed. Thoughts?

I mounted the Summit bull bar bumper from ARB just 2 weekends ago. While I love the bumper itself the install was a serious pain in the backside. It took 2 full days to install. Has 108 steps to install. And its half sized pages on the install guide required me to take pics of some of the illustrations on my phone and zoom in to identify clearly what I was looking at. And some of the descriptions weren’t too helpful and no tips on getting full size parts into half size or less openings. Several times during install was about to quit with frustration. Had to stop and just really think it over before figuring it out—. Like getting the frame bolt under the radiator for the mounting brackets. 🤬
But, it is super heavy if not over built. Great mounting and integration solution for the winch. Excellent welds and quality for the bumper and bars. Look like you could take out a water buffalo with nary a scratch. So I am really glad I got it and did it. Just know it’s gonna take a whole weekend to install and patience.

Apparently, a lot of folks thought the same Laura, given the amount of ARB items that are Sold Out on the members-only version of the Shop (both of the more useful recovery bags, for example).

To answer the question, I will 100% be getting the Summit Bumper for my front bumper integrated with a WARN 10-S winch and some RIGID lights and the rear differential cover (in black... my household "doesn't do orange"... any orange especially oranges that might appear in several SEC schools color-schemes). I was going to purchase right as I received my Bronco, but had to buy a new refrigerator/freezer for the house first as ours died 😑 and apparently feeding the family is more important than Bronco parts (silly, I agree).

Plan on ordering both in 2 weeks when bonuses are paid.
