Thought this was a fun video. The Bronco was built on the Ranger's T6 platform... so fun to see how the two 4x4 trucks compare when you take away all of the Bronco's off-road technology.

Should have been built off the F150. Funny how Ranger used to a trim then a model and now the bones of a Bronco. Glad they finally brought the Ranger back though. My 2001 just won't die despite being the least maintained of all our vehicles.

I was bummed when they canceled the Ranger—although thankfully they kept it in production overseas so it was relatively easy to bring it back. Had they canceled it globally I’m pretty sure the 6th generation Bronco wouldn’t even exist since they already have an SUV based on the F-150 platform (Expedition).

Me too. I'm still irritated we never got the Raptor Ranger. Just like the old hot hatches that Ford made for other countries. Not sure why Ford does some things but I'm sure they have their reasons. You might be right but there would always be room and a massive market for the Bronco even if it wasn't the only SUV on the f150 platform. Frankly I despise SUVs (mostly) and I have a Bronco because I view it more as a truck. The Explorers and old Shelby Durango are very nice but I wouldn't buy one unless a new interceptor that never saw service was available.
