SQUACHD

I was really excited to get my Baja Designs 50" ONX6 Light bar. That is until I installed and got out on the road. The noise was hedious, even with the hard top. Whistling, roaring, and howling. I could not live with it. I had to fix it or take it off. I started researching options and the clear plastic snap on clamp on lenses wouldn't fit the Baja. I'm not crazy about the look either. So I found the possible answer. Zroadz Noise Cancelling Wind Diffuser. It seemed like a solution but the instillation guide wanted me to drill holes across the bottom of my $1500 light bar. No thank you. After some thinking on it I cleaned the surfaces with alcohol and used 3M automotive tape. It worked better than great. The one solid run of the 3M across the whole diffuser stuck like no body's business. I got out on the road and at 75mph, the Bronco is tame again. The noise is not completely gone, but I would say about 80% is gone. I can live with it just fine. So if you want a light bar but are afraid of noise, I think this is a great solution. It is a little pricy for a piece of painted aluminum that I could have made myself, but time and convenience are worth something. See link for the one I bought: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01AT5INZE?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details

Looks good. I know they attach car parts with 3M red tape nowadays but I'm still paranoid about having weighted metal dangling above my windshield with just tape. Especially when it's got a lip acting like a spoiler catching all that wind. Looks like it will hold though.
