Looking forward to being Rocky Mountain high!

Had a great time at the Badlands Off-road Park in Attica, Indiana.
@SlashRacer (Mike), @DigitalInBlue (John), @andrewdhahn79 (Andy) and Jeff (Allegan, MI) met there on Saturday. It was John and Andy's first time off-roading in their own Broncos. Unfortunately John and Andy didn't get to wheel together since John was there early and had to go about the time Andy and his enthusiastic crew got there. Both had the 2.3 with the 7 speed and could have shared info with each other about off-roading with a manual.

Unfortunately I am really bad about stopping and taking pictures or video so I don't have many. Mike is much better at that sort of thing so I hope he will attach what he has.

One of the goals on this trip was to scope out the park so we could bring a much larger Bronco Nation group sometime this summer/fall. I know it is quite the trip for some of you but you will have a great time guaranteed.

1400 acres and trails for every skill level.

It was great meeting you and your son. It looked like you all were having a great time and can't wait till we can do it again.
Oh by the way, @andrewdhahn79 bought the same orange flag as you with the same results. Broken......
Andy kept on going after it broke but finally someone at one of the checkpoints noticed and told him he had to have a flag. Luckily it was towards the end of the day so it really wasn't an issue.๐Ÿ˜

Very nice - great seeing some videos of non-SAS Badlands - would love to see more of that to see what real world differences you see - aside from gearing, I'm not seeing the 35s being that much of a significant advantage in most cases.

New flag being delivered tomorrow, Jeff pointed me in the right direction on Amazon and Mike sold me an extra mount for the front hood tie down.

1,400 acres of off-road fun!!!

Hereโ€™s the POV of the Badlands. There are some spots where I filmed from outside of the bronco as well.

Iโ€™m 3.5hrs away and made the trip there and back in a day. Long time in the saddle. Left home at 5:30am and got back home at 9:30pm.

What a great place to 4 wheel! Most of the trails are wide open and you donโ€™t have to worry about scratches. There are branches that hang down and will break the cheap flags they sell there. There is a little bit of everything there to play around in/on. My POV video shows a lot of the park. Itโ€™s a long boring video, but check out the tubes in the video!!!

They had 2 air hoses at the air station for airing up. There was also a food trailer for people to buy food.

Next time I think I will make it for the whole week instead of down and back in a day.

I did not have the front locker locked when I didnโ€™t make it at first. Then againโ€ฆ.I also had 3 or 4 error messages on my dash. It would not let me select a goat mode, nor would it let me disconnect the sway bar. :(

As soon as I left the park, all of the error messages on the dash went away. ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ

I had to put it in 4L with the button because goat mode didnโ€™t work.

Long day going down there and back. Next time I go I am staying the night and may play for 2 days. ;)
