I am just curious.... if you build a badland and an outer banks with the exact same specs;;;; Color, MIC, SAS. leather, LUX, etc.... The outer banks comes out around $2k more.... is that just to have the running board, and same body color for mirror, door handles, and fenders that comes in Outer Banks? otherwise they are the same vehicles?

I think you need to start over.

The Badlands will have the Disconnecting Stabilizer (sway) Bar (handy for rock crawling). You don't get that in the Outer Banks. That is the big difference. They can be specified about the same if you tick all the boxes on the order sheet. The Outer Banks, of course, does have the nice painted fender flares and door handles.

If you order the Sasquatch Package on the Outer Banks, it comes with black plastic fender flares. I think if you have painted fenders, it's highly unlikely your Bronco will leave the pavement. They'd get all scratched up on wooded trails.
Chris here. I drive a Velocity Blue 2023 Ford Bronco Badlands with Sasquatch, Lux, a 2.7L V6, and an automatic transmission. It’s fun.

the Ford Configurator is weird.... I did see what you are saying sometime back to change to black fender flares when you add Sas.... right now when I did it, it did not change to black plastic..... so not sure..... I did not think about the sway bar as mentioned above that Badlands has that Outer Banks does not.... In general to me even having the option to add Sas to an outer banks model does not make sense.... I doubt anyone will do this unless you must have the body color fenders and mirror caps which as you are saying will get ruined quickly out on the trails...
