Has anyone on here who have gotten their hands on a Bronco had a chance to hear the audio system? I have yet to hear any of the B&O systems in the newer Fords. My last Ford was a ‘16 Expedition Platinum and the Sony system left a lot to be desired. Currently have a BMW X5 with the HK system, and love it. Will be getting rid of the X5 for the Bronco, so just curious on audio.

I think motor trend had a piece about them in the bronco sport, said they weren't as good as some HK or Bose systems. But that they are a huge upgrade over the standard ford speakers. I think both use a 10 speaker set up so should be similar in the big bronco.

Here is a review from a UK Magazine that I read on the Navy MWR Library site from time to time. Obviously, this is a Ford Fiesta, but I think it can give you an indication of what to expect:

"Some higher-end systems can extract more detail. Others can deliver dynamics with more subtlety. But, there aren’t many that sound as fun.

The B&O Play Sound System handles any genre of music you throw at it and its breadth of musical abilities keep you coming back for more. For the money, it’s a bit of a no-brainer."

We have the B/O system in our 19 Mustang GT which I think is a 12 speaker system in that one. It is definitely an improvement over what I had in my 2017 GT350 and it’s the best factory system I have had so far.

I wish this was available separate as I would love to have but not worth the upgrade for me just for the one feature. I noticed Crutchfield has a listing for the new Bronc so am hoping for some AM options to upgrade the sound system.

I heard a B&O in a 2020 F150 Platinum. Was not impressed. Not bad, but in a closed Platinum cab I expected more. He had just received it and had not "tuned" it.

With the roof off and mud terrain tires it may not matter, but any extra amperage with better speaker efficiency , sensitivity , and dispersion characteristics will help at higher speeds.

I haven't heard it yet, but that is a great question. I do a good bit of audio work in my job. I'm also a bit of an audiophile. My current cars have Fender systems. The Subwoofer makes all the difference for the bass side in the SUV. I will be giving that SUV up and replacing it with the Bronco. I have heard good things overall about B&O, and any system can be cleaned up with some tuning and alterations like extra amps or things. I hope all I have to do is some equalizer adjustments to get it right. BUT as said above, with the top down and the 2.7L roaring, I'm not sure it will matter. I just hope it has it good when the top and doors are ON.

I should say, that in my '96 Bronco II, I put such a sound system in that I rattled off the back window. Those damn bolts never stayed tight, but I'm guessing 4000watts and 2x 16" subs didn't help. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

I don't think that's the link. That article goes over the faux v8 sounds
