I purchased a swing out hitch cargo carrier from WMA superstore on EBay. Looked like a great option for the Bronco since I wanted to be able to open the tailgate with the cargo carrier loaded to let the dogs in and out. Definitely too good to be true. They make all kinds of claims about the weight it can handle that are false. I put less than 50 pounds on it and it sagged to the ground. When I tried to latch it, it had obviously bent and was misaligned. I reached out to the company multiple times on EBay and their website email, since they claimed it had a lifetime warranty, but they refused to respond. When I finally got EBay involved and complained, they responded and basically told me to pound sand. The only possibly remedy they offered was for me to pay to ship it back (which would’ve been hundreds of dollars) and they would see if it qualifies for a warranty or not. I pushed back and they said they were closing my case. They claimed to manufacture the carrier themself and said they were located in the US, however when it arrived it had a big old “made in China” sticker on it. Worst experience I’ve had with a company in a while, but I guess I get what I deserve for using crappy eBay. Anyways, just a warning for those out there looking at it…do yourself a favor and just light your money on fire instead. It’ll be more fun. Found out they have an F on BBB. Go figure…

This right here screams "made in China", as does the look and feel of the rest of the page. This, and the fact that none of the pictures show the carrier with anything in it. Amazon is the same way -- completely full of sellers in China selling cheap crap. Unfortunately, this is just the way it is now.

Throw the thing away (sorry) and look for an American off-road aftermarket company to buy from directly.

Only Chinese company I would do business is Mabett. They have a great reputation on TOS, and post in there to get suggestions. They sell through Amazon...
