If you have received your Bronco and you got yours with the auxiliary switches, what did you assign to each switch by number?

Its my understanding each switch is a different amp for wiring various accessories. I'll need to find a chart on them so I dont misroute whatever I want to install.

That’s an old chart. The 5amp circuits are all rated for 10amps.

Aux 1 = Front Bumper 2 x 8” LED bars
Aux 2 = Windshield 40” LED bar
Aux 6 = Rear Bumper LED pods

Those numbers are the pre-production numbers and are not correct on the production Bronco. Really wish Bronco Nation would update that post because a lot of people end up using it even though it is incorrect.

Production numbers for 2021/2022
  • AUX1 - 30 Amps
  • AUX2 - 15 Amps
  • AUX3 - 10 Amps
  • AUX4 - 10 Amps
  • AUX5 - 10 Amps
  • AUX6 - 10 Amps
For anyone who happens to read this after 2022, check your manual cause it may change in the future.

Also worth noting that 1.5 mm2 is 16 gauge, which is WAY to thin of a wire for a sustained 30 Amp load unless the wire length is around ~1.5 feet or less. (Personally, I wouldn't do it at all. It's just too much current for that tiny wire.) So.... danger Will Robinson!

As I understand it, all the prewire leads are in the engine compartment but one that is wired to the rear. Do you know which switch it belongs to?

As I understand it, all the prewire leads are in the engine compartment but one that is wired to the rear. Do you know which switch it belongs to?
All 6 switches terminate in the engine compartment by the fuse box.

Then there are 5 completely unconnected wires that lead to various parts of the vehicle. They are not wired to any switch, it is just wire sitting in the Bronco.
  • (2) From the fuse box to the glove box area
  • (1) From the fuse box to the front grille
  • (1) From the glove box area to the passenger rear quarter panel
  • (1) From the glove box area to the passenger visor
So... say for example that you want to power something in the back of the Bronco with the AUX4 switch. You would wire it as follows:

AUX4 switch wire by fuse box => Unconnected wire that runs from the fuse box to glove box area => Unconnected wire that runs from the glove box area to the passenger rear quarter panel => The device you are powering

If you think about it, you'll notice that the Bronco only comes with enough wires to power two devices that are located in the passenger cabin of the vehicle itself. If you want to add some additional devices inside the Bronco, you have to run your own wires.
