Hello all!
This is for anyone that has taken delivery of their Wildtrak in Area 51. Is the Bronco emblem on the tailgate chrome or black? I’ve not seen one in person to be able to see for myself.

All.Wildtraks are black regardless of exterior color.

Yeah, I think the black emblem looks great and will probably be changing mine to black when the time comes.

Yep the black emblem looks really good on the A51 I will be changing to the black Bronco on my A51 Badlands. This dealer demo had the black pony I forgot to take a pic but it looks good. And below is the chrome on A51 BB

Ya, I agree the Black Bucking Bronco looks better, but just my $.02. Maybe it’s because I’m not a fan of chrome.

Dealership or body shop will be able to source one for sure…

I believe the part number is M2DZ-7842528-B and can be ordered from your local dealer or any of the online ford dealerships.
I think they are around $40. I've seen a few people really ticked off on the shipping fees from some of the online dealers so shop around a little for the best deal.

I'm going to try spraying mine satin or matte black over paying the money for the Wildtrak one. I'd end up trying to dull that one anyway.

I was gonna suggest plasti-dip as well. I have a pair of original Bronco scrips from a 69 that I salvaged several years back thinking I might build another EB, but those are getting media blasted and powder coated gloss black for my Wildtrak. Biggest question though is, use original mounting hardware (drill 5 holes per) or use automotive grade double sided tape. Thoughts?

Oh I would not drill. Shave the back flush and use 3M adhesive tape.

I concur @Garemlin
Use VHB for mounting to the vehicle. Manufacturers don’t drill holes for mounting emblems anymore - it’s all 3M VHB adhesives.
