Is it just me or does the area 51 overland
build look like it needs a lift?

It looks like it might not be Sasquatch with 35”. It’s most likely set up with 33” given that it’s a badlands.

Yes, I think its running 35 's without a lift. Sasquatch includes a 1.2" lift. To run 37's you need a 2" lift they say.

But also remember that not all tires run the same size. Some 35's are closer to 34". My SSR's 33x12.50's ran over 34" and they hit all over cause my TeraFlex lift was only rated for 33's (but BFG 33's not Super Swampers).

The Overland is a one off concept Badlands without the squatch . They simply took the stock 33's off and replaced with aftermarket wheels and 35" tires .

I'm of the opinion the lift should only be tall enough to clear the tires, even allowing slight rub is ok. Anymore than that would be uncivilized. Ground clearance is determined by tire size, not springs.

This makes no sense for a vehicle made for offroad use. This is not a low rider

A few inches (2) is not enough to start fighting about . I just like the build, overall.

It’s a Badlands so it won’t suck at even modest climbing ...there’s room.

Springs help with break over angle.A longer wheelbase Bronco (4 door) would need more spring (higher) to get the same break over of a the 2 door. This is why 2 doors are preferred for offroad, less height for more break over.

Yep! ...many factors apply.

A non-lifted Badlands with larger tires is NOT a dog. Always, better than a Jeep....

I asked someone to check for tire rubbing on frame but never got a reply. If anyone see's that overlander in person check if the tire is hitting frame on hard turns. Should see signs on frame if so. My jeep used to hit bad. I ordered a TeraFlex 3.5" lift and they said it was good for 33's but my 33x12.50 SSR's hit bad. I could of ran a BFG 33 probably as there 35's were smaller than my 33's. LOL
