Hey all I just had Darryl at the dealership to get his second oil change and tire rotation. I decided to walk the lot and they had 10-11 Broncos and only three were 4-doors. So if you are looking for a 2-door head to Ford of Boerne. They all had market adjustments of $10k. I was looking at a first edition on the used lot when a salesman pulled up on a golf cart I asked why the FE had silver trim rings he said it was an actual FE and the owner liked the contrasting ring and it had no spare. I thought that was kinda like taking a 63 corvette and cutting the split window out to look like a 64 I had a buddy do that once. He said they can’t keep Broncos on the lot I didn’t have the heart to tell but you have 11 and only 2 are used. And the new ones I could tell have been sitting there a long time one had cobwebs all over the spare and another was full of oak leaves. I was not able to get any pictures as I left my phone at home. I do that often because I can live without this thing until I think oh I should post about this on the Bronco Nation and then realize I left the phone at home.

The 63 Split Window Coupe is my dream Corvette! Back in the early 90's, I was at the family vacation house in Maine. I was driving by the local high school and there was a 63 Split on the lawn. I pulled over to look at it. Beautiful car, stock, well maintained, low mileage. Asking price was $32K. I should have bought it. But I had my Supra Turbo at the time and it made no sense to get another sports car. I was an idiot! 😆

73 still had a rear chrome bumper. It changed in 74. No Chrome. 72 was the last year with front and rear chrome bumpers. I like the older Vettes through 1982, Crossfire Fuel injection. Didn't like the C4's. C5's and C6's were ok. C7's and obviously the C8's are awesome!

I looked at their website- and if true, they are offering at MSRP- so great deals if true. 2 doors not as popular. Manuals are not selling, period. I love my 2 door Badlands Sas manual. The best way to go. I suspect Ford will stop making manuals. 2 doors will only be restricted runs. I dont think they will discontinue completely. Remember when they first said they wont even make a manual Sas. Get the top off my 2 door- there is nothing better.

There is no reason for Ford to drop the manual transmission. The take rate has been reported to be just over 35% when looked at from just the 2.3L Ecoboost take rate of 40% of overall Bronco sales (i.e. 60% of all Bronco sales are the 2.7L). So when both engines are considered in the sales numbers, 15% of total Bronco sales are manual transmissions, which is very good. The cost to put the manual into the Bronco is already a sunk cost as far as crash testing and logistics support requirements, so dropping the manual from the three models it comes standard in makes no sense.

Some people like saying no 2 doors and no manuals because they know it aggravates us. The salesman was smirking when he told me no manuals for 24. Should've belted him.

The take rate nonsense is misleading, should look at order rate, Ford wouldn't offer 2 doors or manuals at various times and what the dealers pull need to be examined too. One dealer absolutly refused to order manuals. Ford has skewed the stats to favor other configurations.
Early on before ordering opened the manuals were supposedly 25%

Oh they are like lots of dealerships the website shows MSRP but when you get to the lot you will see the addendum stating market adjustment =$10,000 they had a nice BB manual 2-door but it was not Sasquatched, if it at least had the rear locker that would have been something.

When I was searching for a 2 door I looked at over 50 dealerships and 99% of them had one price listed online and then it was marked up $5-15K when I contacted them for the actual price.
