Last year, while we were at King of the Hammers, we got the chance to do a walkaround (and later ride with) the KOH Edition Broncos.

The package had some great details, including:

  • Fox 2.5 Performance Elite Shocks exclusively tuned by Jason Scherer
  • Available Locker and Gear Upgrade for Broncos without Sasquatch Package
  • Available Hard Top
  • BDS 4” PE Coilover System
  • 18” Satin Gray Black Ring Vision Ojos with Tire Lock Technology
  • 37/12.50R18 BF Goodrich KM3 Tires
  • Full Under Body Skid Plate Armor
  • Powder Coated Front Bumper with LED Fog Lights
  • NACHO TM5 Combo White Lights
  • Powder Coated Rear Bumper and Tire Carrier
  • KOH Branded Rock Sliders
  • Carbon Fiber Fender Flares
  • White Rock Lights
  • Fully Equipped ARB Air Compressor System
  • KOH Branded SpiderWebShade Bikini Top
  • KOH Branded SpiderWebShade Trailsac
  • Tool Roll Kit
  • KOH Edition Dash Badge
  • KOH Front Fender Badging
  • KOH Branded Seat Covers
  • KOH Graphics Package
  • FMVSS Compliant
  • 3 Year / 36,000 Mile Warranty

I support the idea of these packages; Jason Scherer included many details that make sense from his multiple wins of King of the Hammers, like the lightest 37" wheel and tire combo available while still making these daily-driver comfortable. But today, I saw one of these editions for sale on duPont Registry. That had me revisiting the package and found twenty others for sale. The prices are HIGH.

What do you think about the cost, and what would you pay for one of these?

I guess if you like throwing money out the window just to play around in the sand, then more power to you. Coming from someone who has a '21 BaseSquatch, it does all I need it to do, and is $100k cheaper than these. I guess priorities change as we get older.

I'm out 😁

Pocket change, I'll take two.

Not.
They can build a few of those but try to claim there isn't enough base model to justify building them?

I'd take the shocks and compressor, and I do like tube-style bumpers, but I feel like I liked them better in person than looking back at them online. Full underbody armor is nice, too. But I'm happy with my plain Badlands. So I'm with you, @EvlNvrDys.

I remember watching the videos on this it’s a pretty neat deal that they will take any trim and turn it into the KOH but they seem a little pricey you can do a lot to your Bronco for half that extra money. Or leave it stock and enjoy the heck out of it.

Yeah, not sure who this market is for.
If I'm not on my dirt bike, I'm in my Bronco.

I'll bet the KOH Edition Dash Badge is worth $80 to $90K.

NFW. I'll stick with my Badlands which is about $75k less. I could break mine and buy a new one and still not be at $126k.
You can't reason someone out of a position that they didn't reason themselves into.

Bronco Raptor anyday over this!

Why would someone even consider this over a Bronco Raptor? Especially when the KOH Edition Bronco's cost more!!

For everything that is listed in the post above there is nothing stating the Bronco frame has been structurally reinforced. Is that just something easily overlooked when you go off roading.... especially desert running, I think not!!!

Sure you may get a "KOH" Bronco but who at this point is going to say, "Oh wow you have a rare model"? More than likely you're going to hear what us Bronco Raptor owners often hear as we walk away..."I mean yeah it's nice if you want to throw your money away". So for me I don't understand it at all.. a quality dealership can throw on the same parts for a whole lot less!
