Apple CarPlay issue

Got my new Badlands Bronco and it's amazing.

The only issue I have is that last night, after working flawlessly since I got the Bronco, the CarPlay stopped working wirelessly and only connects when it's plugged in via the lightning cable. Anyone else have this issue? How can I correct this so it works wirelessly again?

Thanks!

Sometimes volume control is a little glitchy with my iPhone but it has always worked wirelessly. If you have an iPhone, make sure you are on the latest iOS release and give your phone a reboot then try again.

Just happened to me today- I can use a cable to connect via Apple CarPlay but the wireless app projection stopped working… tried to toggle the switch for this in settings- unable to move it… I’ll be calling FORD tomorrow…

Did anyone figure out what is causing this issue or a fix to use wireless Apple CarPlay without it stopping unexpectedly?

1. Delete the Bronco from CarPlay on the phone
2. Delete the phone pairing on the Bronco
3. Reboot your phone
4. Re-pair your phone with the Bronco

I would also do a soft reset of your sync system…. Normally holding power button and fast-forward for about five seconds until the screen goes dark…. That and turn you phone all the way off and restart…

It‘ll work…. I have complete confidence in you!

A recent iOS update was just released. If your phone updated chances are your phone and Bronco are seeing each other as new connections. Just delete Bronco off your phone and your iPhone off your Bronco and re-sync.

Every now and then, mine doesn't connect. It's annoying.

I found that using the official iphone cable now works better that my old aftermarket cable. Maybe its coincidence tho.
