Anyone planning on painting your new Bronco?

Wondering if anyone is planning a custom paint job, wrap, or graphics. If I hadn't snagged a first edition, my plan was to buy a base and slap on a baja paint scheme with a white top. Any other cool ideas out there?

Yep, I’m doing some type of vintage paint job with chrome wheels, grill, and door handles when available. This is my inspiration:

Will be doing something with my company logo for biz tax write-off for 2021. Thinking of replacing the WT logo on the hood and possibly on the quarters where the badge is already, then dipping the bead locks to company blue color. I guess I got some months to figure it out though LOL

I am planning some custom vinyl graphics color matched to the orange Badlands badge and interior accent color for my Carbonized 4dr Badlands. Still playing with designs for rocker stripes, hood decal and/or upper portion of the rear quarters. Stay tuned...

The subtle badge replacement looks clean and makes a statement! Classy!

Not to my Bronco. But was thinking of wrapping my F250 A51 to match the Bronco but I’m not 100% on that yet but her paint is tired so it needs something.

Ooh, how about chrome moldings like early bronco, rocker panels, upper body trim, windows, etc. Surprised no one has photoshopped something like that yet.

How about some strategically placed chrome diamond plate?

As of now, wrapping the top white and most likely adding the fender Bronco emblems that @BuzzyBud posted.

Any suggestions where to look at wrapping? I'm not familiar with that, but I like some of the custom jobs I see out there.

You can google “custom car wraps” to find local businesses near you that can show you photos of their work and potentially provide a quote. One word of caution though, is that a wrap does not do well with scratches or rock chips. If you plan to do much off-roading, you might consider paint versus a wrap.

Factory paint is often baked at a higher temperature than aftermarket. Aftermarket paint shops have to contend with parts that warp or melt, unless it is a panel that is painted off the car; therefore, you are unlikely to have as strong a paint as the factory paint. Painting your Bronco will likely cause it to fail faster than the stock paint.

Good point. I learned this the hard way a few years back after having the rocker panels on an F150 painted. Looked great for 6mo, then started chipping away.

Maybe a fiberglass body kit would be another option to change the look/color. I like the idea of a 66-77 inspired kit although I suppose you could argue that is what we got with the existing design.

How long until we see patchwork Broncos where friends with different color rigs simply switch panels & doors with each other to make multi color patchwork Broncos?

Lol yes! Like "reliced" guitars that people often pay a premium for... reliced new Broncos!
