Not sure I could be without my vehicle for 3-4 weeks unless I could use the loaner like my own Bronco and take it off road.

I hear you -- I have my Comanche, and they would get a Bronco with fresh rear shocks 😂 so I am not totally against. I just want some behind the scenes looks though.

Man I would do it for the wash and vacuum alone. Will they do my recalls as well?
I wonder if it is only for the 2.7l or both motors. And I wonder what is the mileage range they are looking for. With 51K and the 2.3 doubt I’m what they are looking for.

I'm at 30k right now; I might punch in my VIN and see if mine gets selected. For the plot.

I absolutely would do this. Not sure they would come to AZ for my ride though. Unless they take it to the Ford test track here! 🦶🏻🦶🏻🦶🏻🦶🏻

Right? I read they are doing mostly "local" states: MI, OH, IN, and IL.

I also read the typical rental is a full-size four door sedan, @broncorob3 👎

I would IF they installed the full Roush kit free of charge including the wood crate which is honestly the coolest piece of the Roush kit and I got a certified letter from Ford that absolutely nothing they do would void any warranty in part nor full in case they're testing out new emissions equipment.

Tell Ford they can use it and then send them emails for the next 3 years apologizing for delays with vague details and very little communication.

I find it interesting that they’re planning to take your vehicle for a few days, put miles on it, possibly make adjustments and/or determine that you’ve done things that may avoid warranties, and yet there is no mention of possible compensation or any incentive to participate. You would think they would at least offer a loaner vehicle for the period that your vehicle is being used. I wonder how many volunteers they actually get?

One of the letters does state $200 compensation upon completion in addition to a year newer loaner vehicle. It also states that Roush insures the loaner vehicle should anything happen to it.

Huh? Did you not read the letter? 200 bucks, a 2025 loaner is provided, both vehicles get full tank of gas, and they wash and vacuum yours before returning it to you And your and the loaner is fully insured.

I would expect as much since Roush works hand in had with Ford in Detroit and atleast previously had a building adjoining Fords. It really was smart strategically and was the only reason Roush didn't get lost in the aftermarket crowd that swelled during the S197 Mustangs retro forward heyday.

I don't know but suckers are born everyday. I've heard so many horror stories (not regarding Roush) where someone thinks it's cool to loan their car to be tested or used in a movie and they get it back absolutely abused. From the communications posted it does seem as though Roush and Ford (at a cooperate arm's length 😉 ) are trying to take a responsible approach but offer as little compensation as possible while baiting the hook. Many years ago Microsoft borrowed my Shelby for a day to photograph and scan images and sound for a racing video game. The car wasn't abused but to this day I still don't know if the game was ever made all of us car owners were supposed to get a free copy of the game and have the game crediting us all in some sort of credits. I did request not to use my name so maybe that's why I never heard more about it?

I stand corrected then. That seems more reasonable at least. Thanks
