Anyone Else Getting Bad Reflection off your Bronco's Hood?

Any time I drive in the general direction of the sun I got some pretty wicked reflections off my hood. Is this the paint job? Maybe the more flat windshield? I've never had this with any other car I've owned. Maybe because I'm so tall?

I think that’s why the Wildtrack has the hood decal.

Glare is annoying for sure. I don't have it bad on mine, but I'm average height and have Oxford White (so everything's already bright). I've noticed it more on our Rapid Red Bronco.

I have the Aeroskin hood deflector...it covers the majority of the reflective curves so I don't get the reflections.

Then why do the other 8 or 9 series of broncos, not have this??

No glare on mine. Wildtrak for the win. I’m glad it’s unique with the wildtrak graphic. Ford accessories did show some other options for graphics that go there on the hood if you don’t have a wildtrak. One I saw looked like a contour map. I think the RTR bronco has one.

I've been scoping out the various companies that offer Bronco hood bulge decals. There are a LOT of options out there. I'm going to get a basic matte black decal with a simple pinstripe around it. Should do the trick. I'm also not that tall, so I don't anticipate too much trouble with glare. Still, there's nothing anyone can do about the sun at a couple times of the day; any time it's close to the horizon, it's going to blind everyone regardless of what they're driving!
Chris here. I drive a 2-door Velocity Blue 2023 Ford Bronco Badlands with Sasquatch, Lux, a 2.7L V6, and an automatic transmission. It’s fun.

I think it’s all in the drivers position. How I sit in mine for daily I can’t see the hood, just the bottom of the window seal and maybe the top of my aero shield.

Haven’t driven enough during the sunshine yet and I have the aero skin will keep an eye out. Also always wear polarized glasses. But I think it is allot to do with driver position. Try to lower or raise seat (probably lower).

Yep. It's blinding in my Race Red. People think I'm asking them to stop because I always have my open hand extended to block the glare. I'm 6'.

Also, as an aside, I have to hunch over a bit to see when traffic lights change because they're just out of site of the windshield for me.

Still absolutely love my Bronco. There was no glare or traffic lights under the canopy of the woods at Jericho Mountain NH last week :)

I have race red, and zero issues, but I feel like i sit more in a reclined back position. Maybe that's the reason. I will verify in the coming days. But so far no issues,
Now for the red lights. If I'm in a small intersection, and im the first vehicle, I have to do the same.

I wonder if a 15% ceramic windshield tint would cut down that glare

Hell yeah, terrible glare. It's almost blinding, I must be commuting at the perfect time each day but it's difficult and requires some strategic positioning while driving. I'm considering wrapping the hood in mat black. That giant flat hood is like a suntan reflector, no matter dirty or clean, and I have an Area 51.

I don't have my Bronco yet but I have heard this is a real problem. I'm putting a 50" Baja Design ONX6 light bar across the top of my windshield and XL80s on my A pillars. I know this will really throw glare. I just got in a ADV Ram Air Hood delivered and it is at the body shop now getting painted flat black to combat the issue. My rig is cactus gray so hopefully the black hood will not look bad and solve issue. We will see.
