Anyone installing PPF (paint protection film) to their Broncos? I've never had it done on a car before and am wondering if it's worth the price?

Oh it's too late for that since I've already got mine, I was thinking aftermarket.

Whenever I get my Bronco which is now looking like 2024 LOL.... I will be putting on the PPF on the underside from bottom of the door all the way down to help reduce chips from rocks, not sure about color yet. Thinking maybe Black with the black Hockey Sticks on VB.

I’m gonna pass on the PPF. This thing is so modular in the future it is possible that I will have a bunch of different body panels. I guess it all depends on what the AM has to offer. Also my brother does paint repair so I’ll keep him busy.

I had mine wrapped with Xpel ppf. Best on the market, but pricey. Imho worth it.

I had factory PPF up front, about 16 inches of hood and draped over the front parts of the fenders. Right after delivery added aftermarket on both sides, about middle of doors all the way down to rock rail. Offroad gravel spit and sling is pretty intense, depending on tires, and Ford paint job is soft and thin. PPF is worth the cost, if you care how your rig looks.

I would consider it, but first I want to take delivery of my Bronco, then have my shop perform color correction as necessary, give it a good clay barring, then apply Ceramic Pro coating, and finally, add the PPF. This way, you know the paint has had time to cure and harden, and you start with a better canvas for the PPF. Probably what I will do. I think the PPF for the hood is a great idea; that area is prone to scratching if you're heading through brush.
Chris here. I drive a 2-door Velocity Blue 2023 Ford Bronco Badlands with Sasquatch, Lux, a 2.7L V6, and an automatic transmission. It’s fun.

Ooh! I’m thinking of doing this with the satin/matte wrap. I have an all black Wildtrak and love that matte black look… but with the Wildtrak matte graphic on the hood, not sure if that would look weird or ruin it? I have to take it in to the shop for an estimate (which is only open during the week, so I’ll have to wait until I have a free day).
Do you mind sharing how much it was to wrap yours? (And is it 2- or 4-door?)

2 door. What I had wrapped was: the hood, front fenders, grill, headlights, side mirrors and frame around windshield. I did not have the doors done because of the side graphics on my WT. My side steps and trail armor that covers the pinch weld do a good job of protecting the doors. I was quoted $1800, but he came down to $1500 because he wanted to wrap a new Bronco for advertising purposes. P.S.-the matte wrap on the hood graphic looks good, however, the WT script will disappear under the ppf. It’s there underneath, you just can’t see it anymore.

Thanks for the info!! Yeah, that was my thought about the graphics on the hood. The shop here seemed pretty excited about being able to see a Bronco in person, so maybe I can work a deal with them too. ;)

Would you mind posting pics of your WT post PPF?

I only have a few and the pics don’t highlight the work done, but the installer did a good job.
