I ordered a 21 2DR Base SAS in White and got a 2023 in Feb of 2023. Timing was bad as just bought another car and was out of garage space. The market was still hot and flipped it June for a nice profit but I waited two years for it and I missed it. Told myself I can buy one with more option down the road. Then the base was discontinued and my same rig is like 12K more ouch. Wish is kept it. Starting looking at used and then saw some 2023's are still out there. In MD I found a 2 dr sas BD with Mid- pack, Carbon Gray, V6, Mod bumper- everything I would want advertised at a hot price. $7550 behind MSRP $3500 being a rebate. Bronco was born Dec 6th and I bought that new colt. Excited to be flying out to Balt to pick it up next week and then 1000 miles to Illinois where many boxes of Bronco parts wait. Wife fly into Chicago and we are heading to AZ with Ole Blu. Have a good break in route picked and looking forward to West Virgina Mts. Only state I have not visited. Probably change the oil in Chicago too before heading west. Getting Ceramic Tint done there also about $200 less then out west. Back 25% over factory-15% doors up front and 80% windscreen. LLumar works in the AZ heat.

I like your taste.
I installed a rear sway bar that is on the new 4drs. Really made a big difference in handling. Specifically it dramatically reduced viscous brake dive at speed. Corners nicer.

As you top Negro Mountain on I 68 (no sign anymore, too incorrect, they took them down) You're about 3/4 mile away from my house...

Congrats on your new rig! If I may ask, where are you going for your ceramic? I live in Chicago and have been looking but really have no idea of where to go. Thank you!

You know the drill, we are gonna be needing photos as soon as you get it back home. Oh, and before I forget, and not that I am biased or anything, but 2DR's ROCK! đŸ’Ș ✌

extra toasty, how many miles did you rack up before changing the rear sway bar? I would love to stiffen up my suspension. I have just under 3500 miles and have noticed that my 2dr non squatch BD has 'settled down' a bit and is a bit softer in the ride (not complaining) and I have definitely notice a bit of nose dive when braking (don`t like that). Would that 4dr sway bar work for me, being a non squatch model?
Where did you purchase the parts? You had them installed, or did the work yourself? Thank you!

The shop is in Plano and they also have a shop in Peru, IL. I am going to Plano a week from Monday. I can't remember the name but they are going to text me before. Lumar dealer. the wife wants darker then legal. I think going 15 on drivers and Pass and then 25% over the factory should be a close match. 80% on windscreen. Ceramic is always lighter then standard tint.

Does that sway effect the suspension drop when wheeling? I would think it does but everything is a trade off. Out east I don't see and issue. I am not going to beat my rig but I do like Moab etc. Sway bay disconnect on the Bronco did not do as much as on my Rubicon in my opinion. I was just impressed on how easy you can steer with front lockers on. In Moab I forgot I had the front locker on. You could never forget in a Jeep, lol. If you wanted to turn anyway.

It very much could effect drop of axle as it is essentially tying it to the frame. That’s the point of it. You have to remember that it’s standard equipment on the 4dr Sasquatch.
But now when I hit the brakes hard on the highway it does feel like it’s going to do a somersault. Well worth it for me.

I installed myself. Axle must be in full drop to fish the bar in position (supported the rear frame). Fairly easy install.
I purchased online from OEM Ford Parts Direct. Provided parts list is golden.
Probably had about 2500 miles on it at the time.
Can’t imagine it wouldn’t fit on non Sasquatch but don’t know for sure.
Huge safety and confidence benefits for me.

Please do, I definitely want to darken my rear windows and have some sort of PPF applied. Fifteen boxes! Pictures when complete!!

Picking up tomorrow. Excited for the trip. Had the dealer add the hood bug deflector before my break in trip. Keep the bugs up high and protect the hood from rock chips. Dealer was $89.99 which was good pricing. They were installing it today after the truck is detailed. Looking at pictures I think the BD is missing the right rear tow hook. Will verify along with the rest of my list upon arrival. Salesman is picking me up at BWI in the morning.

Congrats! Enjoy! FWIW, there is only one rear tow hook on the Black Diamond rear bumper.
