I just had a message on my Ford Pass that my Bronco was going into deep sleep mode to save the battery.... So, I saw a Facebook post on the same issue. Anyone know why? When I went to the Bronco it was total dark and nothing activated when I opened the door. Once I pressed the start button, the screen above the steering wheel started, then the main console screen. The next day when I drove it and shut it off, I received a massage on the main screen saying to shut down or drive it further.... anyone else having this???

Interesting, have you checked the battery connections?

Deep Sleep Mode is designed to conserve battery power on your vehicle. This setting is activated when your vehicle falls under one of the following conditions: Vehicle is inactive for 14 consecutive days. Battery voltage drops below 9.5 volts. Extreme cold/hot weather conditions

I'm guessing your battery voltage has dropped below 9.5V - if you Bronco sat for a long period of time (dirt hill) your battery maybe bad. It's under warrantee for a year, so if your Bronco is less than a year old, get it in to your dealer

Wrong, it is 14-15, I drive it every day and the temp isn't extreme....I have had it for over 5 months, but thanks for you comment.

How long did it sit before you got it? There's people on this forum whose Broncos came off the line long ago, but it sits on "dirt hill" waiting for final parts. Batteries left sitting don't bode well. You have 7 months before your 12 months are up. I would be taking screen shots when the app says your battery is in DSM, might as well start documenting it

We had the same issue with our 2020 Fire Edge ST (2.7 Ecoboost) around 2,500 miles. Turns out our battery had a bad cell. They replaced it under warranty. No issues after that.

It was built on Dec 20, sent to the Depo on Dec 24 and I received it Jan 12.

I got an alert from Ford pass stating about the new horn/light software update to find your car. However, I saw a vehicle recall on my app as well. When I clicked on it and put in my VIN, there was no recall. I have 2021 4Dr 2.3L automatic. Anyone else got that same recall notice?

Recall finally showed up when I plugged in my VIN. It's a Rear Door Child Safety Lock Inspection. No rush to have it fixed. Will do it with my next service.
