After market shift knob options?

Family wants my (reasonable) Christmas list. I've looked at the Twisted Shifterz site on and off, but there are too many options to just send my wife there to shop... LoL

I may try to call them with some questions, but anyone here please chime in if you have experience or suggestions. I don't mind a slight increase in height over OEM as long as the 1-3-5 throws don't feel too far away. I have one of those center console pads that makes my right elbow rest a little higher then OEM also, FYI. I think they offer OEM height and V2 which is slightly higher. Does anyone here know:
- Are the custom colored knobs not aluminum? And therefore not weighted?
- How much higher is the V2 adapter? Description says "slightly higher" which must be shorter than V1
- Is their Badlands orange Grabber orange?

If available, I'm leaning toward black with orange grill-style engraving, or the inverse of that... :)

I know AR had a fancier option, but that ship has sailed. Any other options worth considering?

I was not aware there were different versions. Mine is 2-3 fingers higher than before. Very comfortable and gets me some room above drinks in the cup holder

Thanks for the reply and pics. Like the orange with the grill-style shift pattern. Good point about the height, I find myself always putting the taller water tumbler on the passenger side cupholder.

Thanks for the advice and options. I decided to stay with OEM height and black aluminum knob, but with the bronco grill shift pattern etched into the alum.

Now, all I need to do is act surprised on Christmas morning... :)

I have the B&M short throw shifter. The shift knob is nice, but the short throw is where it's at! You won't regret it! It's worth more than the price they charge for it in my opinion!

I have twisted shifterz knob with their adapter and in my opinion it raises it just enough to be perfect height! Plus American made and made in my state so I'm biased lol 1000001612.jpg

Looks great - I'm guessing that's the aftermarket leather boot also with the blue stitching. I'm not going that deep - factory vinyl boot will remain (for now) but another mod-seed planted.
Since I ordered the aluminum version, the shift pattern is just Laser-etched, so if I'm feeling fancy, I thought about painting in the lines in Badlands Orange. We'll see.

I would recommend trying some badlands orange nail polish and a thumbtack to get it painted inside if you wanted to try it for cheap.... Did this trick with gun sights over the worked perfect and saved me money from buying the actual paint since nail polish was like $2 for a bottle lol

And yes I went leather custom shift boot with white and blue stitching to make it match my theme from Redlinegoods. It was excellent quality and great company to deal with if you ever go down that rabbit hole.
