My Ram Air Hood was just dropped off by shipping co. at body shop that is going to paint it. Manager of shop looked it over with me to make sure no damage in shipping. He told me he has never seen a better fiberglass body panel right out of the box. He made me feel good about my choice. He also said that I wouldn't believe some of the junk that he has seen in these types of parts. So just an FYI, the Advanced Fiberglass looks to be very high quality according to a trained eye.

That's awesome, they look pretty sharp!
I'd like to go that route eventually. Would you mind me asking how much for the paint on that?

I'd like to go that route eventually. Would you mind me asking how much for the paint on that?
I am very lucky on that. I asked the same question on some other post when I ordered mine and was told probably somewhere between 1K and 2K. If that had been the case I would have just wrapped it myself. I ended up getting it done for free. I am an insurance agent and we have a body shop a couple of blocks down from my office. Many of my customers use them. I went in to get a price and the manager offered to do it for free. He will be getting a nice bottle of bourbon. I am having it painted in a flat black to keep down glare from bar light over windshield and a pillar ditch lights. My rig is in cactus gray.

No, and I wish I had taken some pics when we unpacked it. All it needs is to be primed and sprayed according to the body shop. I will post some when they get it painted.

Wow that's the best deal you could ask for!
I noticed that problem with my hood and sun glare in the afternoon, may have to do that too!👍🏻

I'm hoping Amerihood will release a hood for the Bronco . I just put one on my Ranger and it was a well made hood and just needed sanding , primer and paint . I owned a restyling shop for 20 years and I have seen a lot of crap fiberglas parts but this one was great . The price was right too .
Just another brand to keep an eye on if you want a good product .
Maybe by the time my Bronco arrives something will be available .

That looks awesome. I hope they do add some more options. Advanced had two different hoods to choose from. I don't think I could have found one I like better than the ram air but more options are nice. As you know they aren't cheap.
