A few things that Ford has upgraded for 2024 models that are not just material quality items but also quality of life improvements I've seen are showing signs that they're constantly working on this vehicle and I think that's awesome.
One thing new 2024 owners might notice if they've had previous models is that the "window shake" when opening the doors is almost non-existent. The second you grab the door handle, even if you don't tug on it, the windows drop. When you hit the unlock button on your remote, the windows drop as well. They're still sealed since there is a small secondary seal point, so rain shouldn't enter, but now that you don't have to actually pull the handle, the window no longer catches against the body as you're tugging and the glass is being pulled against the body seal while simultaneously dropping.
Stitched dash and console - Luxe Package. I've been in a few 2024's and the dash looks like have MGV with orange stitching along with the center console. The softer feel of both items is a welcomed improvement.
Doors seem to close with a nice rewarding thud now and it was the first thing I noticed when opening and closing the door on a 2024 unit.
Trailer tow - There is a pigtail under the rear bumper that is covered by a small metal guard and there's a zip tie/christmas tree pin that holds this in place. The issue is that if you're planning to install a trailer hitch, or if you ordered a DIO Trailer Tow option, the only way to get this guard off the frame and complete the trailer hitch install is to remove the rear bumper. The bolts holding the small guard in place can't back out far enough to remove them because the metal guard has a tab in the way that allows the head of the bolt to back out about 3/4 of the way. If I can, I'll snap a pic of what I'm talking about. But, it's nice to see that theres some thought behind protecting the plug until installation.
