Today marks 4 months since I took delivery, and I'll hit 7000 miles this afternoon - it's definitely NOT a garage queen! As some may know, it's a velocity blue 4 door Badlands Sasquatch with Lux package - I reserved it 7/20/20 and took delivery on 10/12/22 - 814 days. Before I even had a build date, I had new wheels in the garage, ready to go, as well as a number of other accessories including the ARB twin under hood kit, side steps, lights, and more. This is my daily driver as well as my adventure vehicle - and I absolutely LOVE it. I've had a bunch of cars over the years, but none that I can say was EXACTLY what I wanted with NO compromises. That's how I ordered the Bronco - EXACTLY what I wanted. I worked hard during the 2 year wait, doing as many side jobs as I could to try to get extra money towards my down payment, as well as selling my classic Dodge Dart that I'd had for 18 years (and spent 11 years restoring myself) to help with the down payment. Being able to write a check for more than half the cost of the vehicle up front was very gratifying and a bit scary.. but it allowed me to get my dream vehicle. Every time I look at this thing, it puts a smile on my face. Every time I drive it - I want the drive to be longer. The 2.7 has plenty of power to get this heavy thing moving, the ride quality is great (I keep my tires around 34-35 psi for daily driving), the Magnaflow Overland cat-back makes it sound good.
We've taken it to the desert, to the snow, to the mud, and trails... I've been SUPER impressed with the performance of the stock Sasquatch tires in the snow - this thing should be called a Yeti instead of Sasquatch! As much a I love the Bronco, I love the community. I came from the world of Mustangs, and the Mustang crowd is TOXIC - so many egos and d***-swinging, it got exhausting and wasn't even fun any more. The Bronco (and offroading) community is the opposite (so far) - people who just wanna get out and explore, see pretty sights, enjoy their rigs, and challenge themselves every now and then.
I'm not into rock-crawling or anything too crazy, due to a neck accident 20+ years ago - I can't handle too much bouncing and jostling around - so I mostly stick to the mellower stuff.
As far as 'gripes' about the Bronco - it's a very short list, and not a deal breaker -
Anyways... here's a recap video of some of the fun I've had with Elwood over the past 4 months - plenty more adventures ahead - I can't wait!
I know a lot of people buy these and use them only on the streets - maybe they're nervous about taking it offroad and damaging it... I get it. You can go adventure with very little risk. I encourage you to seek out a local Bronco enthusiast group or off-roading group on facebook or something ... meet up with like-minded people... it's ok to be new.. trust me, you'll have a blast once you get this thing off the pavement - and you don't need to beat it up to have fun :)

- Many have pointed out - the B&O audio system is a joke - it's the worst stock stereo I've heard in a long time. I quickly replaced all the dash speakers with Kicker 4", the kick panels with Kicker 6.5" and the rear pod speakers with Focal 4".. that made a HUGE difference.. this weekend, I finished the stereo project by completing the install of a tailgate mounted Stinger 12" sub, along with Phoenix Gold 500.1 amp in the location where the stock subwoofer used to be (it's in the trash now). altogether, I put about $1200 into the audio, and it's night and day. Ford could and should have done better, for this being the 'premium' audio system.
- Fuel mileage - not as much of a gripe - just a little thorn in the side since it's my daily driver - overall average so far over 6200 miles is 13.8mpg (calculated, not using the dash - which says 15.3). Considering most of my commute is highway, and I try to be as easy on the gas pedal as possible, this hurts every time I fill up, luckily gas is down to about $4.05/gallon for the 87 octane, so it's no longer $120 a fill up.
