4 Broncos hit the gravel pits and gold mines for 6 hours of fun

Went out with 3 guys from my local Bronco group this past Sunday to play around in the rain at the local gravel pits and abandoned gold mines. had a blast, nothing too crazy, and good for all skill levels (the guy in the HPR 4 door is still getting his bearing with a 4wd, so it was perfect for him). radios definitely help with communications - helps the lead vehicle give the folks behind a heads up on what to expect and you can also make sure that they're clear at the bottom of a hill before the next person goes.

Northern CA.... no issues with the rocks (they were large river rocks, not a lot of 'gravel', honestly)... I've got mudflaps and GoRhino side steps, so the sides of my Bronco are pretty well protected. It was a great time, for sure - definitely want to go back - it's only about an hour drive from where I live and i didn't even know it was there until one of the guys in our Bronco group mentioned it.

Thanks for sharing this great video. I especially enjoyed viewing the two-track roads through the wooded areas. For some reason, this type of terrain especially appeals to me. Nice drone shots, too.

I always love going out with new off-roaders... I am not into the 'extreme' stuff or rock crawling due to an old neck injury.. I prefer the mellow drives with a couple mild obstacles and/or hills, etc... these broncos are INCREDIBLY capable from the factory, so it's fun to help new Bronco owners get more comfortable with their capabilities.

I prefer the mellow drives with a couple mild obstacles and/or hills, etc... these broncos are INCREDIBLY capable from the factory, so it's fun to help new Bronco owners get more comfortable with their capabilities.

Yeah the Bronco's capability certainly is more then mine at the moment and it's still my daily driver so I'm NOT looking to break anything on it.

Yeah the Bronco's capability certainly is more then mine at the moment and it's still my daily driver so I'm looking to break anything on it.

Yeah I get it. Mine is my daily too. I don’t wanna go beating up on my new $60k+ vehicle. But mellow trails are plenty of fun for me!
