So, I know it will be a long while before I hafta change my mongo absurd (but totally love them) stock Squatch tires (not the rims).

Now, I have read online, many times, of folks stuffing 37"s on the Bronco. Can someone please share an actual tire number that will fit the stock Squatch rims to get the number from 35" to 36.5 or 37?

I know they must exist. I did mess around with the Mavis tire selector and found several options for the stock profile, but had no luck finding a size that got the tire wall and diameter taller by an inch or more.

I believe the stock Squatch rims are 17x8.5, correct? With this, there must be options that offer a taller profile on that Squatch rim!

Any and all info will be deeply appreciated! Of course, the price of said tires, stock, or with an inch or two more, will be enough to make you puke, for sure.

Once you get above ~35-37" tires it's going to flip to the imperial system... cause... 'MERICA!!!! I guess?? (I actually have no idea.)

Some examples:
  • LT315/70R17 is a 35" tire with a 12.50" width. The imperial equivalent of that would be 35X12.50R17LT
  • 37X12.50R17LT is a 37" tire with a 12.50" width. Convert that to metric and it would be LT315/80R17
You will occasionally see a 37" tire expressed in the metric system, but it is very rare to see a tire larger than that in metric, so you'll have to search for the imperial sizes.

---

TL;DR— look for tire sizes using the imperial system and not metric. 37x12.50R17LT is a good size to start with.
