23 MIC hard top

You can indeed mount a 2023 hard top on a 2022 Bronco, it is effectively the same top.

And hard tops are in extremely short supply... most of the production capacity is being used at the assembly line. It IS possible to order the MIC hard top, but you have to order each component individually and assemble it yourself. Last I checked the total cost to do that was around $12,000 in parts, plus whatever the labor cost is to mount the glass into the hard top shell itself, but I'll admit I haven't looked in a few months.

If you want a hard top sooner rather than later, your best option is to go aftermarket. There are a few options, but the most promising option in my opinion is by Advanced Fiberglass Concepts. Their first wave of orders are shipping now, but you can pre-order if you want to get in-line for their second wave of production.

If you want the OEM look, I would go with Anderson composites.

Anderson isn’t the OEM look. It looks like a cheap knockoff on the outside. Pay special attention to the rear cap. The finish is also quite atrocious.

To answer your question, it will fit fine although you may need to adjust the play in your top receiver brackets to fit well, as they’ll likely be a bit off given yours came with a soft top. I have to adjust whenever I go back and forth to get the best fit with the least wind noise.

Disappointed to learn that the Advanced Fiberglass Concepts Bronco aftermarket hardtop I ordered in Aug 2022 is now expected to ship Oct 2023. Sigh. Has anyone received one yet?

That’s not shocking at all. After waiting 13 months, I bailed out. They keep promising delivery dates that never materialize. They have been coming out with youtube videos every Tuesday saying how great their product is. Good luck on waiting for yours. I’m sure it will be the best one out there. At least when my hard top deteriorates there will be plenty of aftermarket one’s to choose from.

I'm still waiting on mine from Advanced Fiberglass too. They added a order tracker that was supposed to give updates but it was a joke. Mine entered production Feb 24. I emailed in May and got a reply that they had spoke with production and Minde was scheduled to ship in July. Here it is August. I actually called today and asked the person answsering the phone if anyone had actually gotten a hard top to which she responded" I dont know, I just answer the phone." Does anyone know if the company is the legit. I paid almost 9k for mine with all the options. What a great gimic to take everyone's money and draw interest for 2 years before delivering a product. On thier website just today, it says 12-16 week ship time.Thats blatently false advertising bordine fraud.
