At the time of writing, we're not done with this year yet! To finish our wrap-up series, what was your favorite off-road obstacle or trail you took on?

For me, my favorite was trying to find the sweet spot in throttle modulation on the whoops in Johnson Valley in my own Bronco. I cover this in a little detail here, but I had never taken my Bronco west yet, and at work events, I'm always in a 4-door. I enjoyed the new challenge; it made me excited to get better in that kind of terrain and to make my Bronco even better.

Second place was driving in Anza-Borrego in California, thanks to the scenery.

How about you? Any standout trails? An old favorite you could drive with your eyes closed that you did again? An obstacle you attempted instead of taking a bypass that still has you retelling the story? Let's hear about it! And happy 2026, Bronco Nation!

I already posted about Hell's Revenge and Hell's Gate on the other post. So....

I found Tabeguache trail near Grand Junction, CO, and it's probably my favorite trail ever. There's nothing boring about it, and it's got tons of interesting obstacles. Great trail.

Favorite trail of 2025 for me is one I led our Arkansas Broncos group on the first of November. Colors were awesome that day and we did about 10 water crossings. Capped off the day watching Back to the Future at the Drive-In. We’ve had some fun times this year as a group and looking forward to more in 2026!

Doing Bonnie and Clyde at DOMO in our OBX with no upgrades. We made it up the rock face at the end using trail control on the first go when others struggled a bit.

That's a terrible idea, when do we start?

Lots to see/do/wheel out here, even in SoCal, as @Laura explained. Big Bear, Anza-Borrego, and Johnson Valley (where Bronco Knoll is located) are just the tip of the iceberg!

Yeah, I'm always heading out west. When I say I'm going offroad people think I'm heading out west (119K+ miles on my 21 Outer Banks). We have some good trails in the small mountains of GA, but not much open scenery (trees everywhere) and dirt roads down south for playing in the mud. Nothing like reaching the top of a trail and looking out over the mountains, plains and desert for miles.

That's awesome; proof you don't need to be modified to have a great time

Great pic! I've yet to do this trail, but from the looks of the rest of this thread, the rest of the Nation has been having fun on it

Got one lined up for 2026 from January 2 already -- I didn't think I'd be leaving my Bronco up to the rock rails in an iced-over then broken-through mud pit in the woods overnight, hiking out 8 miles in 16 degrees, and enlisting the help of a wheel loader (? I think) to break it free from the ice the next day. But it was a great time. Plenty of time to top that though, so let's see what this year brings for all of us!
