Hello and thanks in advance for any response.

Are the rock rails still standard equipment for the 2-door Wildtrak and Badlands models? The Ford website does not show them on those models and I'm uncertain if the site photos are just generic in nature.

Rock rails are standard on the Badlands (2 and 4 door), but not the Wildtrak (this is not a change for '24, but a continuation of no rails from past years). Good question, and good callout -- Build & Price pics are not always accurate.

Hi Laura, you seem knowledgable on the options. Question, I ordered the optional beadlock capable wheels on my 21 badlands, IMHO the best looking factory wheel, anyway I don't see them as an option now. Was this a one or two year option and now discontinued? Thanks!

I've had the privilege of doing the news since '21, so I've retained a few facts working with the Bronco brand team and all the incredibly knowledgable people on here and 6G!

In 2021, Ford offered three wheels for Badlands:

The 17โ€ Black High Gloss Painted Aluminum with Carbonized Gray Beauty Ring (64W) became a commodity constraint and were optioned out.

You're right -- For 2024, per the order guide, Ford is only offering the 17โ€ Machined Carbonized Gray-Painted Aluminum (the non-SAS standard wheel) and the 17โ€ Black High Gloss Painted Aluminum, with Warm Alloy Beauty Ring Beadlock Capable (the SAS wheel), making it appear that they either wanted to streamline options or it is still a constraint.

@RagnarKon may want to pipe in.

Yeah @Laura is correct. Those optional wheels were dropped as a factory option about halfway through the 2023 model year.

If you really like them, they are now offered stand-alone through Ford Performance. Bronco Nation has them available here on the Gear Store, and if you are a Bronco Nation member you can get a 10% discount. (In this case, the 10% discount on the wheels essentially pays for the membership and then some.)

I didn't even know that ๐Ÿ˜… And THAT'S why we tag Ragnar on stuff. Always has the facts.

Heh... I spend more time than I should admit looking at parts.

Don't know everything though. Like the fact my Bronco Nation membership expiredโ€”didn't learn about that until just now. ๐Ÿ˜…

Anyway, both @Chip Carr and I were lucky enough to get the optional wheels from the factory. But there was a few people who really liked those wheels, and have no idea they are offered through Ford Performance, so hopefully this thread will pop up in future Google searches.

Thanks folks! Yes, I think that was a good value in 21, at $800 I believe, to get 5 FACTORY beadlock capable wheels which I also think look great. In fact it was the only option I took on my four door, soft top, 2.3, manual transmission, Cactus, Baddy. I wanted tow but had to give it up to take delivery in July of 21 from Stevens Auto Center. But, I have just recently added tow when Ford released the 7 pin tow harness kit with control module plus the factory trailer brake control. All set to tow in the Spring!
