I finally got confirmation that my bronco raptor will be built on July 13 with a window sticker.

The question I have is what are fellow members seeing as market values for fully loaded 2023 Wildtrak's. I currently own one that I will be trading in towards my raptor when it arrives. I paid $ 68,200.00 MSRP brand new. Kelly blue book and NADA say it's worth $ 67,000 to $ 70,400.00 as it sits today via trade in value. Private sale KBB says it's worth $ 70,000.00 to $ 76,000.00. My Ford dealer offered me $ 70,000.00 straight up trade in towards the raptor. I actually have around $ 72,300.00 into it with ceramic and PPF.

Just curious what other people are seeing for wildtraks loaded with the hardtop on the used market and if dealers are still getting over MSRP for new or used 2023 Wildtrak's .

Is $ 70,000.00 trade in a fair price from my dealer ? Or should I go with BAT, autotrader, or cars.com ?

Thanks for the help.

I'm not sure what state you are in or if your state has the same policies. In Indiana, a trade-in reduces the amount of taxes you will have to pay. If I would buy a $100,000 new vehicle and my trade in is worth $70,000, then I would only pay state taxes for $30,000. This would save me $4900 in taxes. So your state does the same thing, you need to figure it in your calculations. To me, not having to deal with selling it privately would be worth it to me the few thousand you might be out by trading it in.

Hmm the trade in offer sounds pretty good , actually. You might make more on BAT or Autotrader, but you might not get as good of an offer either. Here in Texas you get tax savings by trading in your vehicle, you only have to pay taxes on the difference between your trade and the new vehicle. That could be a significant savings with a vehicle that costs as much as the Raptor. Just quick math here in Texas it would save you about $4375.00 just something to think about so if you are only getting $75000 from some other path you are going to have to put up with a bunch of headaches trying to sell it yourself. Just something to think about. I don’t really see it as you are loosing money but you got to rent the wildtrak for a few months while you waited on the Raptor.

Sometimes easier is better. If you can afford a brand new raptor, I don’t think you should sweat a couple of grand one way, or the other, not to mention a possible tax credit for the trade-in. Good luck.

I'm in agreement with these guys..

In TN a 70k trade + 5k in tax savings... making your trade worth 75k ..

No tire kickers, no scams, no endless texting, no meeting at Bank to verify validity of check... take the 70k trade and be done...

Seems very fair to me. You have a good dealer.

Just to be clear... they are giving you $70k towards a Raptor at MSRP, right?
Because if your Raptor has an ADM, that would definitely change the way I saw the deal.
Everyone else have given you good advice so far imo. $70k, no hassle towards a sticker BRaptor? I would sign that yesterday.

I'll echo the majority opinion. I had my '23 Wildtrak on BaT at the beginning of the year. It only had delivery miles and it didn't hit reserve and was bid to $68k. That's $2k less than your trade-in, not counting the tax benefit toward your Raptor. On Bat, buyer's have to figure in 5% buyer's fee as well as transport if they don't happen to live close to the seller. Take the $70k trade-in, it's a no brainer math-wise and that's without dealing with the stress & time spent selling on your own.
