Just got my Base Bronco in April and after a short ride with windows open last week, noticed my sound deadening headliner had come loose around the edges and center. The black adhesive is tacky and won't hold for long after it is pushed back on. Called my dealership and have a 6 week wait. Know I can just glue back liner but want it done right. Has anyone else had this problem with the MIC hardtop?

This was a problem in the past. I remember posts about it, or if it was on this or other forums. Don't remember the solution. By chance was your truck sitting in the heat with windows up?

Yes. That's exactly what I was thinking. But it's only a 2 month old vehicle. WTH...they have to make some kind of heat resistant adhesive.

I had it happen on the way home from the dealer on day one, I couldn't see out the back window because it fell down so decided to fix it myself. I used 3M Hi-Strenght Spray Adhesive 90, taped off around the liner pulled it back it drys fast and holds tight.

I have to say that I have not had any issues with mine in the Arizona heat. It sits in full sun all day through 115 degrees. Maybe top wasn’t clean or prepped correctly when it was applied.
