Last year, we were in Moab for Easter Jeep Safari (Moab 4x4 Safari, for the Ford branding), and Matt and I stopped by the Jeep concepts while in town. Since Bronco Nation will be at Moab Bronco Safari this year in place of EJS, checking them out online will have to do: Yesterday, Autoblog published a video and some photos of the 2023 Easter Jeep Safari concepts. See anything interesting you'd want to carry over to Bronco? A fur-lined glovebox? An 8-track player, perhaps? Colors?

That 392 Scrambler would probably have me jump ship back to a Jeep.

What no kitchen sink? Clearly Bronco has Jeep running scared and grasping to keep market share. I like the see- through carbon fiber hood/scoop. A bright green like gotta have it green would be nice. Outside the box: GT500 PowerPlant combined with the skylight scoop and the Hurst style shifter.

Colors! I loved the color of my Mojito Jeep, and that Scrambler ticks all the boxes.

I would like to see a fur lined 8-track and CB. The Magnito and scrambler are bad a$$ looking. That fold down grill guard seat does not look very comfortable but an interesting idea. The flip over spare tire on the departure is very interesting. Love the Jeep colors, Ford don’t be scared. The air suspension scares me if it is on bags maybe but if they’re air shocks count me out.
Wow Jeeps with half doors and hard tops where have I seen that before.😈

I think they have some pretty wild concepts and potentially successful features. The colors are amazing. Bold, fresh, and unapologetically different. I would liken them to the safety vests hunters wear in the wild. You definitely won't miss them in the woods! I love the fold-down grille/bench. Very innovative! I wouldn't be at all surprised to see some of these features incorporated into production Jeeps.
Chris here. I drive a 2-door Velocity Blue 2023 Ford Bronco Badlands with Sasquatch, Lux, a 2.7L V6, and an automatic transmission. It’s fun.

I liked the last one for color (purplish), as well as the one with the tan leather interior…

Almost everything was electric…. Ford better get with the program…. (Observation, not to start a fight)…

The scrambler is pretty amazing, and I like the AccuAir system… pretty trick

Yes the colors.
Here is an idea @Ford you could make a color that is pink or purple or orange and call it Sunset Grey or make an amazing teal color and call it Greyge or Blah. That way upper management is happy and your customers actually get a color that matches the personality of the off road community.

I definitely wish the bronco had better color choices.

There is always PPF…. you can pick your color and return to original if/when it gets old…

I had a hard enough time picking from the colors has now…

Some old school Muscle car colors in the vein of Ford and Dodge. BuT I thought the point was to get LOST in the woods. I do think a purple would look nice on the Bronco but as a comment and not as a buying customer.

Honestly I’ve just been holding my breath for Jeep to bring some safety improvements to the Wrangler so there aren’t three different ways to die in it daily. Lack of rear airbags is a non starter for a family adventure vehicle.

The Cherokee. Im a sucker for old tin on new running gear. Flawless execution.

The rest... eh. I really dont like the bend in the B pillar that they all had. That will only look okay on a small two door and jeep (like the bronco) is mainly selling four doors. What is that design language going to look like on a more-door.

Let me also talk about the Scrambler. I had a Scrambler (an 82 to be exact). Part of what made that design work was the half-cab and bulkhead that made the back of the tub a distinct part of the vehicle.
The 392 Scrambler had the same weird B-pillar and really shortened the look of the bed. Like it looked like a cyber-truck weirdsmobile to my eyes. If you are going to put a bed on a jeep (or a bronco for that matter) i think you just have to commit to the box on a longerbox look.

If I'm allowed to drive it like I stole it without any worry to price/damage/etc... I'm picking the Scrambler every day of the week.

BUT... assuming I don't get teleported to the mystical land filled with cheap Scramblers... the Depature concept is fricken' sick, and is definitely something I could see myself actually owning.

I really like the Departure…. The seats just jump off the page for me.
