Went with the shadow black. To me it just fits so well with the black wheels and the hard top. Enough contrast but still compliments itself.

After a ton of research and trim comparisons I landed on the Wildtrak mainly because of some of the exterior finishes, I like the interior colors and the fact I could get the 2.7 with a roof rack. I will be adding full bash plates as an after market mod at some point. This was an exciting endeavor coming up with the build so I went all in with Lux package as well. Really looking forward to it.

hey man, there's gonna be a lot of people who are gonna project stuff on you. we chose a great trim. i chose the WT because i enjoy the beach, enjoy the baja style trails in the SW, love to (responsibly) car pool my friends to a nice patio, and like to utilize a appreciable boot for groceries (or kegs)-but even if you just wanted a cool suv to carry your friends/pets/stacks of party supplies to your beach party or up the hill who cares. if you just wanted to show up to the office in a car you liked that's all you my duder!

also, if you have any other add ons aside from the luxe package and modular bumper i'd suggest dropping them if you can! I had a tow (diy on a lazy afternnon), paint protection (prior to realizing it hardly constitutes a sufficient level of protection, thought ford was doing us a solid here) and mic-which held me in the order queue for a bit.

the supply chain woes we've been experiencing are starting to loosen a bit-but if you want the vechile sooner drop them! Don't drop the luxe though-it's worth it ;)

I say, “Get what you do want later, rather than what you don’t want now.” I ordered ALL the no-nos on my WT and drove it home 10-18. Yea, I got lucky, but I still would have waited to get what I wanted.

That’s awesome news going into the new year. I made a few changes to mine. Delete tow and paint protection in hopes it helps but I know I’ve still got 8 months + of waiting. Still worth the wait. I hit a trail over Xmas break with a buddy of mine. He has the badlands manual and it killed it. Looking forward to getting mine and doing the same. Enjoy and post some pictures when you get it.

Why would anybody project on the WT choice? What are their problems with it?
