I just got an email from Carfax that my 2023 Bronco has an open recall for the rear view camera. I found the below article about it from Ford Authority. The article says we will get notified by Ford next week. I guess we will need to wait and see what their plan is.

Not sure on on that, but have the lux so likely affects mine no matter. I will wait: "Owners should: wait for communications from Ford, which will begin on May 5th, 2025". Great second recall in waiting for dealership to remedy.

Good point about it being the 360 degree camera, not the standard version. However, I believe it impacts others than just the Lux package. I have the 360 camera and I have the High package on my 23 OBX. I don’t remember if the option was standard on the higher trims or not from that year.

Just got the recall alert in my Ford Pass app so guess I’m one of the “select” models. 😡. “The remedy is anticipated to be available starting 4TH quarter 2025.”

Gotcha…. I should have included the high pkg. i have the mid so no 360 cam for me.

It is the rear view camera. A faulty connection can cause a loss of picture when backing up. I have the High pkg and the recall showed up in my FordPass today.

I guess Ford never fixed the issue. My 2021 BL rear camera was recalled in September 2023 and has since been fixed.

Not sure if it is just the 360 camera that has the recall but I can tell you that my rearview camera blanks out from time to time, just started a moth or two ago. I do have a MY22 with the 12" (larger screen) Screen with no 360 camera from factory. Glades were special like that.

I have had a recall on my 21 Badlands Campaign/NHTSA# 23s48/23v598 since 10-04-23
for the same issue. I have never had the camera black out. My dealer told me not to worry till I had issues. Who knows the right answer?
High package for what that's worth!
21 Badlands, 2 dr, four banger, slushbox, SAS. PERFECT!

After reading the post, I checked and I've got the recall.
Two now. The camera and the shock thing.
Kept looking and my expedition has a recall
My maverick also has a rear camera one.

Im showing (in app) I have the recall i my ‘23 Outer Banks with lux… Although I have had no issues in the vehicle… will see if I get a letter in May…

Yeah doesn't impact us standard/Mid package folks from what I've been told. We have a completely different rear camera than those High/Lux package owners with the 360 camera.

saw my Ford Pass alert just now, wouldn’t have noticed without BroncoNation updates 🤷‍♀️
