2021 BRONCO GRAB HANDLE SOLUTION

If you are like Jill and have a hard time staying planted in your seat due to the amazing G-Forces your better half is dishing out while driving, or you get tossed around when off roading n going thru uneven terrain, or don’t weigh enough to keep yourself planted firmly in the seat, and the OEM grab handles on the bronco is out of reach or is uncomfortable to use, we got you!

These nifty pull handles used in race cars and sports cars (sport, super & hyper cars alike) are to replace the inside door handles of those cars. However, we decided to use them for a different purpose. GRAB HANDLES. Because we needed some. These are a great option for a lot of reasons. They come in different colors, you can mount them on the top very quickly, the soft top does not interfere with the handles and vice versa, and the airbag can still deploy and those will not hurt you should (heaven forbids) the airbags blow, and they DO NOT get hot! It’s a great solution to a problem some of you may encounter.

Cool idea - you should have used some torx plus bolts for an authentic factory aesthetic and to remain true to the Bronco bolt marketing moniker.

Are those threaded holes available with the MIC top?

I will stick with the stainless... in florida it is a must have item. plus the BRONCO bolts would probably cost us $20 each.

Are those threaded holes available with the MIC top?

The will have the holes but unsure if the top is using them. When we get the BL we will be figuring out a way for that as well.

Unless you are holding the grab handle and the air bag deploys...I don't know if this is reasonable concern if you are holding tight because of off camber wheeling, etc.

Unless you are holding the grab handle and the air bag deploys...I don't know if this is reasonable concern if you are holding tight because of off camber wheeling, etc.

The airbag is just forward of that... not in the way of deployment

I found a picture that shows the top of the roll bar.
Looks like there is some type of bracket.

Looks like there is some type of bracket.

Yes this bracket is what the hard top clamps to, I ordered some of the same grab handles so I’ll post picks once I test/install. If there’s not enough clearance I’ll see if I can work out an alternative.
