2 Door vs 4 Door

Has anyone that started with a 2 door bronco and made the switch to a 4 door regretted it?

I really love my 2 door. It's perfect for just me. I love how nimble it is on the trail, able to make tight turns with ease which really helps on some of our Ozark trails. But I know there are obstacles where having a 4 door makes tackling them a little bit easier.

Also, the times I ride with my family (which is like maybe 6 times per year), we're not taking my vehicle since my family can't really crawl in to get in the backseat.

I'm also reminded I have a 2 door every time some new accessory comes out that is only offered for 4 door versions.

I'm basically trying to figure out my next Bronco and whether it would be a 2 door or 4 door. I know I want to upgrade and get a Badlands or another trim where the electronic disconnect is available. Lux package would be a nice to have for the 360 cameras but not absolutely necessary.

Anyone have any thoughts?

Well... not exactly what you were looking for...

BUT, as someone with a 4-door... the only reason why I have a 4-door is because my Bronco has to double as a family SUV. Ain't rich enough to buy one SUV for family trips and another one as my personal toy.

I do hear what you're saying in regards to accessories though. I don't think Ford has published the numbers publicly, but based on what my dealer has said, for every 20 Broncos they sell, only 2-3 of them are 2-door. So hard for small businesses to justify making accessories for the 2-door. There are a few out there though. @Mountains2Metal just launched a slide-out tailgate for the 2-door which is pretty snazzy.

I can offer some pros and cons of both. We are fortunate to have a 2-door and a 4-door. Both are '23 Wildtrak with Hoss 3.0. Wildtrak only came with V6 so they are identical builds except for the door count. My wife's daily is the 2-door. I drive the 4-door on the weekends and for trips. I also use it off road but nothing too technical. I really like both vehicles but IMO the 4-door is so much more versatile than the 2-door. And it is way more comfortable for passengers especially if they want a window to roll down. The 4-door has more room for things we take on trips and even when I'm by myself, I like the way you can load up the 4-door better with better access to your gear. Everything I load just fits better, especially when you have a refrigerator in the back. I like the look of the 2-door better, but I can't see it when I'm driving it ;). There is probably more but I think the most important thing for me when driving is Sport Mode. Hope this helps.

Appreciate the response! I have seen the new tailgate by M2M and I’m thinking about it.

Thanks for the response! And that’s the type of feedback I’m looking for. I normally keep my seats folded down all the time so I keep my fridge within arms reach while I’m driving. That would probably change if I went to a 4 door.
