2 door soft top

Question has anyone even heard discussion given the top issue of simply offering a soft top for the 2 door and delete the hardtop on the existing order? I do not understand Ford not simply offering this as an option makes common sense to me.

the only soft top that exists for the 2 door is from besttop and i dunno if they have the production capacity for a car launch

I read somewhere else that customers of them (jeepers) are pissed because their entire production line right now is pumping out 2 door tops for dealer broncos and there is no stock for jeepers

I'd of gone soft top if given the choice

Removing the hard top seems like a commitment vs a 5 min tops affair

I would have rather gotten a two-door soft top than hard top, but it wasn't (isn't) available. I'm not sure how they're producing (customer) two-door Broncos right now.

My initial thought is, substituting the soft top probably becomes logistical nightmare at this point in the game..
While It may sound like a simple process, I can virtually guarantee it is not.
Maybe 2022????

You've probably already read my conspiracy theory on the 2dr tops, but for the uninitiated, my built wild GUESS is the 2dr having no other top option takes a priority for the tops they CAN build, along with FE tops.
After that, any extra top capacity goes towards general orders.
Just a wild guess..... zero inside info.

Day 1 res first 3 hours, Feb 6th order; May 25th? scheduled for build, July 15th Build date, Dirt Mountain 2.5 months, delivered into my loving hands Oct. 8th

How hard is it to remove a hard top solo without a hoist?

By yourself will be pretty tough, but 5 minutes with a buddy would make it a piece of cake. I think it's over 80 lbs with all panels removed, still pretty cumbersome by yourself
